Story
Double Adoption with Jayy, #BF3836. Mike-ie and Jayy are just as unique as their names. They may appear shy at first but once comfortable they show their true personalities. Mike-ie is a sweet guy who prefers to be someone’s shadow. Jayy is a loving boy who learns to trust through treats and back scratches. Jayy’s one eye does not hold him back, being able to play just like a kitten. Mike-ie may be more nervous but you may never see a cat as devoted to his brother than Mike-ie is. ##1422731##

Story
A crisis in her lifetime home left Muma needing assistance from our Animal League America family. Despite dealing with a medical diagnosis without the peace and love of home or family, this stunningly charming senior bounced back with heaps of gratitude to the veterinarians who helped her get her diabetes under control. One shot each day and a scrumptious diet is all it has taken to put Muma back on her paws with a new lease on life. Because she’s part of our family, expenses for her diabetes care will be covered at cost through our Pet Health Centers, taking away any obstacles that might keep her from finding her he- roes. Important to note: she’s an absolute gem of a patient to administer her shot to! Spend time with Muma and you’ll soon realize how wonderfully, delightfully, purrfectly imperfect she truly is! ##1943150##

Story
Kami didn’t know who to turn to when she was abandoned onto the streets of the busy Bronx, left on a cat tree and clinging to her hammock. Her rescue hero took pity upon her which is when her sad tale took a turn for the better. Delivered to the safety of Bianca’s Furry Friends, Kami is releasing her past trauma, welcoming gentle attention as she embraces feeling safe furever. Treat parties and playtime have released the hidden kitten inside her. Kami has so much love to give, and only requires a peaceful home with children over 10 years old, as the only pet,  to continue her pawsitive trajectory. Want to give Kami the furever home she so deserves? All you need is the gift of love and she’ll show you the way to her heart(hint: it’s treats)! ##2229882##

Meet Tom #Co0120 , a charming black cat with a heart of gold!  While he may seem shy at first, it doesn’t take long for him to reveal his cuddly, affectionate personality.  Tom loves to play and enjoys quiet moments spent snuggling up on the laps of those he trusts as well.  A family who has some patience and lots of love to give would be the perfect match for Tom! ##2022102##

Story
We can only imagine the struggles Marmot’s endured before finding safe passage to Bianca’s Furry Friends where he’s made the most of a decidedly different, safer lifestyle. While an edginess remains when dealing with new situations, the consistency of our team encouraging him with treats and play has eased him into this far improved atmosphere. Marmot has been trained to sit with four paws on the floor when requesting treats—a habit his roommates have learned to mimic. Such an unlikely tutor! Marmot is laser focused on the things he knows he wants: a pursuit of feathers, a healthy portion at the treat parties, and a seat by the door waiting, ever hopeful, for that special someone to connect with him in a way that has alluded him thus far. A home with experienced adults and older children ready to delight in all Marmot has to offer is what he’s been waiting for. He also gets along with dogs! Could you be the hero he’s been holding out for all this time? ##1872547##

Story
Zoya is at our Adirondack Region Cat Adoption Center in Glens Falls, NY. Zoya is a sweet girl who was surrendered to us due to some medical issues, but now that she’s healed and stable, she’s ready to find a home that can lovingly support her special needs. She’s an affectionate and playful companion who isn’t shy about asking for attention—she’ll seek you out, nudge for pets, and make it clear when she wants your company. At the same time, Zoya is wonderfully honest about her boundaries and will let you know when she’s ready for some alone time. She does not get along with other cats, so she’ll need to be the only feline in her new home, where she can soak up all the love without competition. Energetic and funloving, her favorite toy is the laser pointer, and she’ll happily chase it as long as you’re willing to play. With her blend of sweetness, spirit, and independence, Zoya is ready to be someone’s oneandonly companion. For inquiries, email adoptadk@animalleague.org.
