Story

Napoleon is, hands down, the most charismatic and social cat we've ever known or met. He greets anybody new at the door, will follow them around, and is immediately okay and comfortable around strangers. It's what attracted us to him in the first place, and ever since then (nearly a decade ago!) we've loved him for this quality. He's always down to just hang and doesn't really have any strong needs (if you're looking for a high-energy and playful cat, look elsewhere!). He's just down to chill, which makes sense given his age (~12). However, after a long period of ownership, our changing family (toddler and new kid on the way!) is proving stressful for him. The home dynamic is changing and as such we're looking to find a loving person to bring to Napoleon as his new owner, with the hope that they can provide a stable existence for him. We'd love to find someone who is looking for a low-maintenance cat for companionship, who can similarly just hang with him every day.

Our little Panda girl is sweet and funny. She loves to look out the window and "chirp" at the birds and squirrels. If we call her name, she comes running. Panda likes to sit on your lap and make "biscuits." She also likes to play and hunt. If a fly gets in the house, she will catch it. Panda likes to roll over and sleep on her back with her feet in the air. She's a silly girl. DASH was found all alone without her mother at approximately 5 weeks old. While feeding community cats at a shopping center in the Bronx, one of our volunteers saw this tiny kitten hiding behind a garbage bag looking for food. She was so tiny, and so hungry that she found the courage to try to join the older cats. Fortunately, after a few light taps on her head, they let her eat. She was so scared, she kept running back and forth to escape raccoons, cars and other cats. She was so fast, we named her Dash. It took 2 weeks to trap her, but she's flourishing in her foster home enjoying life as an indoor kitty. We'll never know how she wound up alone or what happened to her mom, but thankfully she's safe and a playful, happy kitty now. Dash is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and tested Negative for FIV/FeLV. She's a little shy at first but warms up pretty quickly once she gets to know you. Handsome Frankie is waiting for his loving forever home! This healthy sweetheart needs a compassionate, quieter home who will take the time Frankie needs to get comfortable in a new home preferably with female cats friends! .He absolutely loves Churu squeeze up treats and will gently lick them from your finger and purr away. Frankie has absolutely flourished in his months and foster home in Hastings on Hudson. Foster mom has been so patient with him spending time sitting with him reading and knitting that he now comes over and crawls in her lap for cuddles and pets, he even drools from happiness! He really came out of his shell with his two female cat friends in his foster , they showed him the ropes on what it’s like to be happy and relaxed in a loving home, it really has been so beautiful to watch him progress into the more confident kitty he is now. His idea home would be with one or two other cats that want to be his friend preferably female , and perhaps a smaller house or an apartment. We recommend no young children Simply because he can become overwhelmed and nervous with a lot of commotion. With all of these things, we truly think this beautiful boy will thrive and you will see just how special he is and he will show you how thankful he is with purrs and biscuits! Frankie was rescued off the streets of the Bronx, and knew this quiet boy didn’t deserve to live outside anymore. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, negative for FIV and FELV, and microchipped!
