Story
Gracie was given to me during the Pandemic. She’s around 4 or 5 years old, spayed and fully vaccinated. She’s been well taken care of. I have attempted to “house train” her but she is a brazen tortoiseshell and fears no consequences. I don’t believe she was litter trained. I had to invest in a Litter-Robot because she does not bury her poop. She is small, gentle and prefers to be left alone to sleep all day. She’s not into cuddling and is sensitive to touch. She will however allow me to pick her up and brush her fur. Grace enjoys laser toys and hiding in dark spaces. A very curious cat who will explore every corner of your home if not monitored. Do not leave pull out drawers open. She will hide inside dressers and you’ll never find her. She would do well with a cat similar in size who is not overly dominant. I have to part with her because our neighbors complained to the landlord about her meowing at night. If I were a home owner, I’d keep her forever because she is truly a good girl.

Story
So we’ve had Paws from CDS ( cat distribution system) :) he has a twin brother that we found him with. We’ve only had them for a brief period. I have four children from 15-6 years old who love them and cuddle and play with them all the time. We are moving in two weeks and can not bring the boys with us unfortunately. Paws is full of personality, he’s the more sensible brother but still a cat who does his own thing, he’s very chill he likes music, balls, and lasers. He has never lived with any animal besides cats. I’m hoping he finds a loving forever home!

Story
Hello and thank you for taking the time to look at Kimba's page. Kimba was my niece's cat. My niece struggled with chronic homelessness and drug addiction, so Kimba moved around a lot with her. My niece passed away in 2022 and her close friends took Kimba in. Kimba's current family are facing major health and housing crisis and displacement. I have been providing for her food, litter and vet care from out of state (TN). She is spayed and up to date with vaccines. Kimba is a lively kitty who spends a lot of time outside. She does have her claws and I won't adopt her out to anyone who would consider removing them. My niece used to walk her on a leash so that is a possibility. Potential adopters should have a stable home and be willing to allow Kimba to feel like she's home also. She is approximately 5-6 years old. Potential adopters will be interviewed by me. Please reach out and we can talk via phone or video chat.

Story
Fig – Available for Adoption or Foster Home Needed Fig was picked up near one of our feeding sites. Although he is not feral, he is not a gentleman. He needs someone with patience and time that will allow him to be a free spirit until he understands that he is safe and will be taken cared of. Can you be Fig’s hero and step up and help him? Fig is approximately 2 years old, neutered, negative for FeLV and FIV, and up-to-date on all his shots. Story
Rooney and/or Maisie – Available for Adoption Adopt one (if you have other cat(s) at home) or Adopt the Pair Rooney & Maisie were rescued from different yards. They are semi-feral. They might start out as house spirits in your home (which means they will be hiding a lot), but after a while they will each be more out in the open in your home watching the world go by and hopefully in time they may eventually settle in and be friendly with their humans. They each will need a quiet home. Not a home with lots of activity or lots of people coming in & out. They probably won’t do well in a home with young children. They can’t be an only kitty in a home. If you are unable to adopt the pair of these cats than the 1 cat needs a home with a friendly resident kitty to help show them the way. Rooney (orange female) will take a treat from your hand and accept scritches around her neck and ears. She now enjoys playing with the wand toy so she is coming out of her shell. Maisie (tortie female) is the most skittish of the trio, but she hasn’t been with the rescue for as long as the others. She would rather just be seen than be touched. She does enjoy her Churu treats. Both cats are pretty much loners in their foster home, but enjoy watching the other cats out & about. Both would benefit being in a home with a human friendly cat or two. They will be able to see that humans are not all that bad after all as they view them petting and cuddling the other cat(s) in the household. The pair are approximately a year old, fixed, combo tested negative for both FeLV & FIV, and up-to-date on all their shots. If you are interested in meeting them, contact Boston's Forgotten Felines on Facebook or at catadoptions@bostonsforgottenfelines.org
