Ruby is a wonderfully sweet little cat. She is around 10 years old. We have had her for quite a while (~6 years), but as our family continues to expand (our second child is due in several weeks) she is no long getting the love and attention that she craves. The ideal home for her would be quiet house with no other cats and no young children. We had another cat for a while and they got along ok but, in general, she prefers to be a solo cat. She can take a little while to warm up to people, but then she eventually becomes very loving.

Maple Shade: I came to the shelter as a stray, so we have no history for me. I was very friendly with the person who found me, but I hiss at cats. I have been very friendly here at the shelter, and I was tolerant for my intake exam, requiring minimal restraint. I am a very handsome guy, and I just had dental treatment, so for the next two weeks I will not be fed dry food, or crunchy snacks. The shelter is open Tuesday through Sunday from noon - 4:30 pm, with no appointment needed to meet available cats. I hope you will stop by to meet me and see if you are the perfect adopter to help me write the next chapters of my life.
