Story
Meet Raven! Raven is our resident diva. This petite and beautiful girl is a wiley girl who has had little exposure to much in her young life. So, she'll need a cat-savvy adopter who is willing to work with her on her quirks. She's a lovely girl once she has time to get to know you, and is quite affectionate. But, she would do best in a quiet home where she can be the center of attention. Raven must be a single cat in an adult-only home where she can play and adventure to her heart's content. If you think Raven would be the perfect match for you, please fill out a feline adoption application and speak with our feline staff at Purradise in Great Barrington at (413)-717-4244.Raven's adoption fee includes:Massachusetts Health CertificateSpay/neuter surgeryRabies vaccine for kittens over 3 months of age1st FVRCP vaccine1st dewormingTesting for Heartworm, FIV, and FLVID MicrochipFlea treatment including the use of Advantage monthly preventativeEar cleaning, bathing, nail trimming, and other necessary grooming

Story
S-S-Smokin’ Queen Sheba is looking for a special forever-after home. Sheba is a pretty 10 year old dilute tortoiseshell who was recently diagnosed with diabetes at her annual vet visit. While we are hoping for someone who already has experience with this disease, TASP is also willing to train someone. Both her shots and the blood level tests are relatively easy tasks, but it is important to have a schedule where you will be able to feed her grain-free food and then administer the shots twice a day, 12 hours apart. Sheba has adapted very well to her new regimen, and actually initiates it as part of her meal routine now, along with some lovin’ of course. She is eating her new food like a champ and also enjoys a few freeze-dried treats at bedtime. Now let me tell you a little about her sparkling personality. She is a smart and quirky cat, downright hilarious at times. Unlike many cats who will just give you a blank stare, Sheba actually responds to “no” and “back” commands. She has a snowman bed, but she chooses to sleep on top of it, rather than inside. When she puts her paws up on your leg, it means, she has designated this as your cuddle time. Like most cats, she enjoys sleeping during both the day and night, but also enjoys her playtime. While Sheba does like to chase balls or wrestle with some toys, she also amuses herself with cardboard juice or milk cartons, paper and aluminum foil. She hasn’t yet shared with us who or what these imaginary friends are, but she sure has a great time socializing with them. As a matter of fact, these are the only playmates she desires; she does not want to share even larger common areas with another pet. She loves the attention of humans though, known or new. She really misses having the company of her own human to rub against and purr to, and who could dote on her with some good conversation and pets in return. Are you the kind soul this pretty girl is waiting for? If so, please fill out our application http://www.theanimalsupportproject.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Adoption-Application_TASP_PDF.pdf

Story
LuCasey is a beautiful, overly friendly 10 lb kitty that LOVES everyone and everything. This girl is about 4 years old and was found wandering 3 years ago under a bridge, surrounded by highway and saltwater, and nowhere to go. People were fishing and noticed her spinning in circles and acting very strange. To find out over a few hours she was drinking the salt water and making herself sick – With some fresh water, groceries and love, this girl came around in no time and the good Samaritans knew they couldn’t leave her down there to fend for herself. LuCasey has lived happily in a home with 5 other dogs and 1 other cat. She is a wonderful girl. She loves to be right next to you, if it was her choice she would be in your lap 24/7. She is the best lap kitty with the biggest purrs. She strives to be petted all the time. She has been mainly indoors, but she does enjoy going onto the back porch and sunbathing outside in an enclosed area. She would be happy just being an indoor kitty, sunbathing on windowsills. LuCasey would do best in a home where somebody is home more often than not and somebody that wants a lap cat or a cat that loves dogs and doesn’t mind other kitties. She is not sensitive to food and loves all treats! She hears a treat bag, and she will come running from wherever she is. LuCasey is fixed, current on vaccines, microchipped and will have her health certificate giving her a clean bill of health from a veterinarian. You can apply to adopt LuCasey at www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org

Story
Wednesday was born August 30, 2024 and is the most spunky, playful and VERY entertaining kitten you’ll ever meet. This girl has been in foster care since she was born and is the last one of her litter available. Her mom was hit by a car and killed, unfortunately. She has been bottle fed since just a week old. Since she has been around humans since she was little, she is VERY well socialized and VERY friendly. The foster describes her as a hellion. She is always on the move, always curious and getting into things and will make you laugh all the time. Wednesday is very playful and LOVES her toys. If you move fast, she will try to play with your feet as you walk by. She has been around other cats and dogs, and she is not afraid of any of them, big or small, young or older. She will stand up to any dog that walks by and she’s definitely not afraid to hold her ground. Wednesday would be great in all types of homes as she does not need other animals to thrive but would also do great with other animals. She would do well with someone at home more often than not as she does get bored (or other animals to play with if you’re not home). She wouldn’t mind a busy house as she acclimates VERY quickly and doesn’t mind loud noises/energetic children (that are still kind as she is very small still) Wednesday would make a wonderful addition to all types of households. To apply to adopt her: www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org

Story
Scooter, Ziggy, Pixel, Truffle, Garfunkel, Pringles, Garfield and Jambayala are some of the CUTEST kittens!! Born around September 13th, these babies all weigh around 1.3-1.8 lbs and are the tiniest, sweetest, most gentle kitties you’ll meet. There are 5 orange kitties (all males we believe), 2 tortie and 1 black and white kitty in this litter (mom was busy!) These sweet kitties were outside initially but a good Samaritan took them in when she found them next to her house in tall grass. They have been well socialized and handled by humans often, so they LOVE the human touch and love. They have been exposed to dogs and other kitties, and after just a short amount of time, had no issues with the dogs and cats they love. Adorable doesn’t begin to describe them – they all have medium length hair and are SOOO soft. They love to curl up in your lap when they’re done playing and purr away. They would do great in all types of homes since they are only kittens, and they’re super friendly, they will be very easily adaptable. If you have young children these kittens would do great with children, but please take into consideration they are very tiny and can be injured easily, so please make sure before applying to adopt your children know to be gentle and kind to them. These 7 are litter box trained and all eating dry food (but they love their fancy feast wet!) They love their toys and playing with empty cardboard boxes. They will keep you laughing and amused for hours a day! If you’re interested in adopting one of the babies you can apply at www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org
