Simba was given to me in 2019, a friend of mines had a cat that give birth. Simba is a very loving cat towards his owner. Loves to get pet every morning (mainly in his stomach) if you have a mice issue he would be happy with it, when I first bought this house in 2019 the last owners mentioned they had a mice problem, since getting simba I have not seen one till this day. Simba is very shy at first but when he trust you he would always want you to pet him.

Dunia, a natural Persian, came from Egypt at the end of September, born on 01/15/24. She's not getting along with my other kitten. Prior to coming here, she was living with 15 cats, including her mother & siblings. Shortly after receiving her, I found out she was hit by some of the cats, or being bullied. Although she's not getting along with my other cat, she is incredibly sweet with humans. She's very timid, takes a little bit to trust, but she loves to cuddle, loves her head scratches & rubs. She loves to play, watch bird videos. She has never tried to scratch or bite a human. She is litter box trained, loves to eat, highly motivated by food, drinks from a fountain and bowl. She is a super sweet, beautiful kitty, & I am heartbroken that it's not working out. It's not fair to her or the other cat to be confined to separate rooms all day & night. Vet appointment on 10/30 - all good. I want someone to take care of her and treat her well, spoil her, keep her safe.

Meet Melrose, this adorable one year old cat was rescued locally here in Massachusetts. This pretty lady is very sweet and entertaining. Whether it`s making us laugh by zoomin` across the floor, or making us smile watching her come running for treats, Melrose is always lifting our spirits in one way or another! At first she took some time to warm up to new people, but Melrose has made so much progress since coming to CAAA, and she now boasts her friendly, goofy attitude to everyone she meets pretty quickly! She still wouldn`t mind going home to a place that`s quiet and has lots of comfy spaces for her to take naps and be on her own when she chooses to be. Although this sweet girl loves her naps, she also loves her play time. You’ll often find her zooming around with her toy mice and she really enjoys playing with interactive toys as well. Melrose is a big fan of snacks, whether that’s crunchy ones or Churu sticks! She enjoys staff going into her condo to do their work while she takes her naps by their feet and asks for pets. Melrose is a special needs adoption because she is FIV+, and given this she will need to be an indoor only cat. However, this doesn`t mean that she can`t go to a home that has other kitties and she would, in fact, love a friend to play with her! Melrose is a popular girl with the other kitties here at the shelter, and she does fabulous with everyone, young and old. Her friends have really helped to bring her out of her shell and get her movin`! Due to being at the shelter for a bit, Melrose has been added to our ExtendedStay list which reduces her adoption fee in hopes to find this girl her forever home.
