Story
Joy 1 is a quiet and shy adult calico (Birthday 4/1/2018). This beautiful little girl is a real sweetie who loves to observe her foster family from her favorite perch on her cat tree. Joy 1 needs a quiet home with adopters who are willing to socialize Joy on her schedule. She will need time to get used to and feel safe in her new surroundings. Once comfortable, her sweet personality will shine. Patience pays off with Joy! She would do best in a quiet household with another mellow kitten or cat. She needs an experienced adopter with another cat in the home, who will understand that Joy will need to tell you when she's ready for affection. She will need to be crated initially and then gradually be given room to explore. She cannot go to a home with children or loud dogs. She doesn’t tolerate being picked up so she would require a creative approach to vet visits. One option is an in-home vet. Another is that you can work with your vet to schedule a sedated exam or use Gabapentin to relax them. Please note any previous experience socializing timid/shy cats on your application. NOTE: Please include details in your application regarding experience socializing extremely shy cats. This cat is currently in a foster home so if you would like to meet them please fill out an adoption application. They can be found at www.angelcathaven.com and can be filled out online, faxed to 617-488-2239 or emailed to cats@angelcathaven.com. **A special note: given the current social restrictions we are under due to COVID-19, the adoption process will be a longer one than usual to insure the health and safety of everyone involved.**

Story
**Please note: applications must be filled out via our website - www.angelcathaven.com - thank you for understanding.** Fawn 2 ( Birthdate 5/14/2018) is the sweetest shy cat you will ever meet. Although she is very conservative about asking for attention, she will never turn down a good petting session. In the time she has spent in her foster home she has shown she is a very loving cat. She is not one to scratch or bite but she will let you know if she's getting overwhelmed by giving a scared hiss. She is FIV+ but with regular vetting and remaining indoors only she will likely live a long, healthy life. She has been in foster care with and without other pets. We believe Fawn 2 would make a very calm and accepting addition to a household with other cats. She is very independent and low maintenance and can thrive in a range of homes.she would require a creative approach to vet visits. One option is an in-home vet. Another is that you can work with your vet to schedule a sedated exam or use Gabapentin to relax them. Story
**Please note: applications must be filled out via our website - www.angelcathaven.com - thank you for understanding.** Banner Mom (aka Freda and Ella) an adult, gray female cat Although she is very conservative about asking for attention, she does like a good petting session. Until she gets to know you she is very timid and it is very unlikely you will get to touch her. Once she learns to trust you she will allow pets, accept treats and will play. She is not one to scratch or bite but she will let you know if she's getting overwhelmed by giving a quick tap with her paw. She is very independent and low maintenance and has been working in her foster home to become the perfect quiet friend. She is a sweet but timid and does not trust sudden movements, so she would not well in a home with children or with a lot of visitors. Banner Mom especially loves to chase she rainbow dancer string toy and that is when you will see her inner kitten come out. She doesn’t tolerate being picked up so she would require a creative approach to vet visits. One option is an in-home vet. Another is that you can work with your vet to schedule a sedated exam or use Gabapentin to relax them. She has been in foster care with her best friend Joy but since she is irritable when it comes to other cats she would need to be an only cat or be adopted together with Joy (who we also have posted for adoption!). Banner Mom is going to make someone a wonderful companion, but it could take months or even a year before she truly warms up to a new environment. This cat is currently in a foster home, so if you would like to meet her please fill out an adoption application. They can be found at www.angelcathaven.com and can be filled out online or emailed to cats@angelcathaven.com.

Story
Creamsicle 2, or as we call him, Dreamy Creamy, is a short-haired white and orange male. He is approximately 2-3 years old and trapped as a stray. He is a very sweet and loving cat and is always purring. He loves sto spend his days sleeping, sunbathing, and sitting near his human. He can be very playful and loves his toys. He will do his best as a single cat and in a home with no young children. His new fur-rents will need to be very cat-savvy. He was bitten in the past, which we believe was a result of living with other cats in a shelter environment. He is currently living in foster home with only one other cat and doing much better! He is a very sweet cat that deserves his own home. All of our cats and kittens receive an exam, are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, de-flead, tested for FeLV and FIV, and microchipped. This cat is currently in a foster home, so if you want to meet him or her, please fill out an adoption application. Applications can be found on our website at www.angelcathaven.com. It can be filled out online or emailed to adoptions@angelcathaven.com. If you have submitted an application and have been waiting to hear back from us for a few days, please check your SPAM folder.
