Story
Buffy and Blondie are bonded brothers who need to be adopted together to a home with no other cats. Born March 2018. they were rescued as kittens with their siblings, who all found forever homes: all but the two brothers who wanted to remain together. The longer-term foster situation fell through, so I found it necessary to keep them. They would do best in a home with NO other cats, for they have been stressed by the presence of dominant male fosters in my home. They have a loving and sweet temperament to humans -- they love sitting on laps and having their heads rubbed. Blondie loves boxes! We want these wonderful cats to have homes of their very own. They have had outstanding veterinary care, were neutered as kittens, and are up to date on immunizations. All medical records will be provided. They have been fed only the best - Fussy Cat, Acana, and Glycobalance. If, for any reason, their new home does not work out, we are willing to take them back - guaranteed. We love them.

Story
I'm a little Calico, really, I'm small for my age. I don't have an attitude... that's what people say about kitties like me. I love mealtime, and if I want more, I'll let you know by showering you with head rubs. My brother and I love to play chase and wrestle with each other. Laps are the best, and I'm especially intrigued by anything shiny around your neck. I have sweet purrs and make chirpy sounds on the way to the litter box...silly, I know. I am one of a litter of 4. My brother and I are the only ones left and we'd love to go to our forever home together. He's a fun, happy boy! Chassis is negative for FeLV, neutered, and up to date on her vaccines. She has a microchip that will be transferred to the adopter upon completion of the adoption process. Ready to Adopt? Story
Mother was a befriended feral, eventually loved and raised and adopted out to another family. Unfortunately she was later returned to us, and came back verbally hostile to other cats in the home. She is a sweet and sassy girl that just needs some work and long term readjusting to other cats/animals, most likely, but we can’t currently afford to do so ourselves. Looking to give her a lovely home.

Story
Planned PEThood is seeking adopters who have safe outdoor housing that can provide unsocialized cats with a chance at life. These cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and ear tipped. There is no adoption fee for our working cats, but we happily accept donations to continue the program’s efforts. If you are interested submit an ’employee request form’ below or call/e-mail with questions. Our Working Cats program is designed to place cats into safe environments where they are valued for their hunting skills. The cats in this program are considered ‘unadoptable’ by local animal control agencies and have been placed in this program as an alternative to euthanasia. The cats may not be suitable for adoption because they are unsocialized and/or did not acclimate to living in close quarters with humans. A working cat is a type of domestic cat that “works” for its upkeep by hunting vermin, such as rodents. They are commonly employed where pest control is needed: in barns, farms, factories, warehouses, stores, churchyards, and private property. One benefit of using a working cat is that they alleviate the need for harmful pesticides in pest control. Through our partnership with Gwinnett County Animal Welfare & Enforcement and other animal control agencies, we have been able to save over 750 unsocialized cats by sending them to working cat environments. Contact us today at 678-541-9370 or barncats@pethoodga.org if you would like more information on this program.

Story
Noori is a sweet and affectionate cat who is 7 years and 8 months old, currently looking for a loving, calm home where she can truly thrive. She's a champion snuggler who lives for belly rubs and is happiest curled up by your side. While Noori has so much love to give, she's currently struggling with anxiety around small children, so she would do best in a home without young kids. She's a gentle soul who will blossom in a peaceful environment where she can feel safe and secure. She does take medication currently for her anxiety and calcium levels, so an experienced adopter would be ideal. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who's always ready to cuddle, Noori could be the perfect addition to your home. She's ready to fill your life with warmth and unconditional love - could you be her perfect match? Please reach out with any questions or to meet her!
