Story
Meet Jadis!Born around March 29, 2025, Jadis is a stunning long-haired calico with a truly unique coat—beautiful shades of brown and gold flowing gracefully into soft grey. Her elegant looks are matched by a gentle, quiet spirit.Jadis came to Bossy Paws Rescue from animal control in very rough shape—extremely thin and doing her best to care for her two beautiful kittens, Susan and Lucy, who look just like their mama. Despite everything she’s been through, Jadis has shown incredible resilience and devotion. She’s still a tad shy and learning that the world can be a safe and loving place, but with patience and kindness, she continues to come out of her shell more each day. Jadis would thrive in a calm, understanding home where she can build confidence at her own pace.If you’re looking for a gorgeous, gentle companion and have a heart for helping a shy kitty blossom, Jadis may be the perfect match for you.Her adoption fee is $100. Apply today at BossyPawsRescue.org and give this sweet mama the forever home she deserves.Info@bossypawsrescue.org 678-267-9977

Story
Rex – ID #17972 – Kennel #600 Arrived April 2nd – Domestic Short Hair Mix – Orange Tabby – Male – Approx. 1.5 years old – 11 lbs – Will be neutered prior to adoption – Up to date on vaccines – FIV/FeLV negative Meet Rex — a rich and vibrant orange tabby with stunning green eyes and a coat that looks like it was kissed by the sun. This handsome boy arrived at the shelter on April 2nd with no home to call his own, and he has been waiting in Kennel #600 ever since, those gorgeous green eyes watching the door and hoping that today might finally be the day his person walks through it. At just about a year and a half old, Rex is right in that perfect sweet spot — young enough to have endless years of love and companionship ahead of him, yet old enough to be calm, settled, and ready to slide right into the rhythm of a loving home without missing a beat. He is FIV/FeLV negative and up to date on all of his vaccines, and he will be neutered prior to adoption — healthy and completely ready for the fresh start he so deserves. Orange tabby cats have a magic about them that is hard to put into words — warm, vibrant, and absolutely impossible to ignore. Rex is exactly that kind of cat. At 11 pounds he is a solid, beautiful boy with a presence that fills a room, and whoever is lucky enough to bring him home is going to wonder how their life ever felt complete without him. If you have been looking for a gorgeous, healthy, young companion to fill your home with warmth and color, come meet Rex in Kennel #600. He just arrived, and already he deserves so much more than shelter walls — come find this beautiful boy and give him the home he was always meant to have. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Blue – ID #17960 – Kennel #670 Arrived April 2nd – Domestic Short Hair Mix – Grey – Male – 3 years old – 9.6 lbs – Neutered – Up to date on vaccines – FIV/FeLV negative Meet Blue — a sleek and handsome grey Domestic Short Hair mix with striking golden eyes that glow against that gorgeous dark coat. This beautiful boy arrived at the shelter on April 2nd — just days ago — and he is already in need of a loving home to call his own. He is waiting quietly in Kennel #670, and the sooner someone comes to find him the better, because a cat this special should not have to wait long.   Blue is house trained and comfortable around dogs, making him a wonderfully versatile companion ready to fit into almost any loving home. He is already neutered and up to date on all of his vaccines, and his FIV/FeLV negative status means he is perfectly healthy and ready to walk straight from this shelter into the arms of someone who will cherish him the way he deserves.   At just over 3 years old, Blue is in the absolute prime of his life — settled, healthy, and full of love just waiting to be given to the right person. He is past the unpredictable kitten stage and fully grown into the calm, handsome cat he was always meant to be, with so many beautiful years ahead of him still to share with a family who will call him their own.   If you have been looking for a stunning, healthy, dog friendly companion who is ready to bring warmth and devotion into your home from day one, come meet Blue in Kennel #670. He just arrived, and already he deserves so much better than kennel walls — come find him and give him the home he was always meant to have.
