Story
We met Kitten as a stray who had been attacked but escaped. He was happy and playful and cuddly regardless. We decided to bring him home, nurse his wounds, and see about taking him to the Humane Society. But the Humane Society didn't have any openings, nor did any of the rescue groups we looked into. Kitten was seen by a vet to get the wounds cleaned up and antibiotics and he healed beautifully. However keeping him in the house caused allergies to go over a threshold causing excessive coughing and many other uncomfortable symptoms. Presently Kitten is staying outside in a catio that is connected to a shelter and brought inside to a closed off room on cold nights (though he has a subzero heated cat house outside, but just to be sure on cold nights). He really wants love and attention and he is so beautiful but we don't have a better solution right now. He is 8 mths old, litter trained, has his shots and since he was recently neutered he is gentler, much less desire to wrestle.

Story
Chaco, born in 2021, is a beautiful rare chocolate kitty. I rescued him off the street when he was around a year old because he had an injured foot that was infected. After healing, he was vaccinated, neutered and he tested negative for Felv/Fiv. He was such a a docile kitty and by the time his foot healed, The owners of the property did not want another cat being released to the same area. We actually wanted to keep Chaco but we have two other cats that bully him and keep him in a state of fear. He seems to do well with other friendly cats and our dog as well. We've never witnessed him around kids. Chaco, while skittish, is friendly and desires relationship but needs time to settle in and realize that he's in a safe environment. Once he feels safe and sees that you bring him food and can efficiently administer butt scratches, he looks for opportunities to relate. He's also litter box trained. He's going to make someone very happy.

Majin is super cuddly and loves to play and be silly. He was part of a litter I rescued and I wish I could keep him because he's so sweet. Really the ideal kitty anyone would be lucky to have.

Story
This is our cat Hydraulic Press, or more commonly known as Hydra. We believe that he has diabetes insipidus, confirmed by a vet, but we are also thinking that he might have something else in addition to this. He takes desmopressin in pill form twice a day. He will gladly take it if you crush it up and mix it in with a little bit of a liquid cat treat (we store the rest in the fridge for future medicine usage so we don't use the whole treat all at once!). We believe that he might have more medical issues seeing as he continues to drink lots of water and will pee on ANY soft surface left out (carpet, clothes, etc. He has jumped into laundry baskets before. He will also pee on couches) if his litter box is not PRISTINE. He is an amazingly sweet cat and is absolutely perfect with our small child and other pets. We love him very much but do not have the funds at this moment to keep up with further needed medical testing and other expenses. He is a great cuddler and is incredibly soft.

Story
My wife and I adopted our cats Sam and Frodo from Hands to Paws. At first they were quite nervous being in a new place but after a couple of weeks they really warmed up to us and they are both very sweet cats. At this time Sam is 8 months old and Frodo is 9 months old. They are great cats and they are pretty good about not knocking things over or making a mess of things. We just live in a small apartment and we want them to have more space to roam. We also want to travel and see the world and we don't have any family or friends in the area that could take care of them while we are gone. We have been thinking about giving them away for about a month now and we have been going back and forth, but we have decided to find them a new home. They are great cats and they are bonded together and so a new home would have to be willing to accept both of them. Sam is cuddly, very curious and absolutely adorable. Frodo is a bit more reserved, but he still likes to be pet.
