Story
Found Charlie just before hurricane Helene, and have been caring for him ever since. He has a very bold personality, loud purr and meow, and always willing to play. He likes to climb, run, hunt laser pointers or anything else that moves (including toes under the bed or ankles in general). He takes a bit to get used to dogs, but doesn't mind them if they don't mind him. His energy level is too high for my other cat, always trying to start a round of playing but never takes off since the other cat is tired. Charlie will find anything to play with when bored. He usually loses his toys by batting them to parts unknown. He has a weakness for catnip. Charlie will lay all over whoever will pet him. He will also try to balance on shoulders too. He has a strong curiosity for the outdoors. Charlie also will come when called!

Story
This is Lucy. She’s 6 months old, endlessly curious, way too smart for her own good, and probably the most playful cat I’ve ever met. I adopted her from a shelter thinking I could give her the stable, loving home she deserves — and while I’ve given her all the love in the world, I’ve realized I just can’t keep up financially. This has been an incredibly hard decision. She’s not just a cat. She’s my little shadow, my mischief maker, my cuddle buddy when she feels like slowing down for a second. She’s house-trained, super clever, and full of personality. But she’s also still a kitten — which means zoomies at 2am, climbing up places she probably shouldn’t, and occasionally biting your ankles just for fun. I’m looking for someone who really wants a companion. Someone patient, kind, and ready to grow with her — because she deserves that. To make her transition easier, I’m happy to provide her bed, toys, litter box, and anything else I have that helps her feel at home. **Fee Negotiable!

Story
Dragonfruit is an adorable loving cat but she continues having behavioral issues the older she has gotten. She has always been the troublemaker, starting fights with the other cats but the second they retaliate she will run herself into a corner and cry wolf. Once we had caught onto it and no longer payed attention to it, she started chasing every cat out of our bedroom. Then started to mark territory around the house once we finally got her to stop the chasing the other 2 cats out the bedroom. She seems to be able to behave with other cats only during playtime but truthfully needs to be the only cat. She has much love to give, loves to cuddle with people and dogs! Has a ton of energy and will always want to be around you. I just want her to go to the right loving home.

Story
Banshee is a very energetic senior. She's 6-10 years old and loves playing. She's a bit of a quirky cat that loves to jump around. I believe she can get along with other cats but would probably do best in a single cat household. She's very good with people and greets guests all the time.

Story
Niles is at least 6 years old, and a very distinguished and polite gentleman in his long black and white tuxedo coat with a big plume of a tail. The perfect home for him will be as an only cat, no dogs, no kids, and of course, indoors-only. He is the ultimate chill companion cat and just wants a quiet, stress-free home where he can hang out with a calm adult (or adults) human. He's the best biscuit maker and loves being combed out and even accepts tummy rubs. He currently is being fostered with other cats but he gets lost in the crowd and does not get the attention he craves. Niles is neutered, current on rabies and distemper vaccines, and current on flea and worm prevention. He does great at the vet clinic for his annual visits and is a favorite. He has tested positive for FIV twice in the past two years but is healthy and asymptomatic. FIV+ cats can live long, normal lives especially when kept indoors and pampered. If you want to read more about FIV, check out this site https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv Cat Zip Alliance - Campus Cats in Athens, GA adopts to indoor only homes.
