Story
If you're looking for the greatest companion, look no further! Isabelle is an incredibly affectionate, loving, cuddly, and playful young cat. She loves to be held, to sit in laps, make biscuits in soft beds, be the little spoon in a snuggle session, and she is always purring! She did a great job raising her two kittens, but they've been adopted for a while now and it's Isabelle's turn! She can be a bit of a spitfire for the first week or so in a new place, but once she's decided she's home, Isabelle is your best friend, and you'll wonder if it's even the same cat as she was that first week (trust us, it is!). She does great as the only cat as long as there's a warm lap to cuddle in at the end of the day and plenty of toys, but she's also learned how to be good pals with other cats! If you have some patience and love to give, consider Isabelle for the next addition to your family! Isabelle's adoption fee is $155. Your adoption fee includes Spay/neuter, Combo test for FIV/FeLV, all age-appropriate vaccines, Deworming, up to date flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping.   Purr Nation holds regular cat adoption events at Petsmart in Woodstock every weekend. Story
Ruby is a sweet, chunky, white and grey tabby cat with a personality that's as unique as her markings. She was returned to foster care with quite the attitude. After many struggles with her socialization, we finally discovered, Ruby has a strong dislike for other animals. Once she was placed in a foster home away from all other pets, she instantly became a sweet, affectionate chunky purr machine.  She's a solitary soul who would thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention. If you're looking for a loyal companion, Ruby might be the perfect fit. Just remember, she needs a home where she can be the only pet. Ruby's adoption fee is $155. Your adoption fee includes Spay/neuter, Combo test for FIV/FeLV, all age-appropriate vaccines, Deworming, up to date flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
A SWEET COMPANION:  1.5 years old / 13 lbs. Hi, I’m Iroquois – my siblings and I came to Mostly Mutts in 2022 at 7 weeks old.  We were all adopted, but I recently returned to Mostly Mutts looking for a new furever home.  It made me sad to leave my previous home, but I have settled in nicely in a wonderful foster home and am now ready to go to my new furever home!   • OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS:  Obviously, I loved my siblings when I was younger.  I’ve not been around other cats in my current foster home, but my foster says my playful demeanor may be well-suited for a feline friend in my new home.   If you have a nice kitty at home already, let’s meet.  / I was fearful of the dog in my foster home and would not come downstairs if he was out and about.  I’ve progressed to being around him cautiously now and have even established some boundaries when he tries to sniff me.  My foster feels I would do fine with a kitty-friendly dog if we are introduced slowly and have time to get used to one another.  / Older children in my new home may be best, since I am cautious about being petted right now, and older kids would be better at reading my body language – to know when I feel like being petted, and – of course, let’s meet!   • PERSONALITY INFORMATION:  Upon returning to Mostly Mutts, I was very afraid when I first arrived in my foster home.  However, I trilled when my foster talked to me on the ride home, so I knew we could be friends.  After about one week, I started to come out of my shell in my foster home.  My foster engages me in play with kitty toys only – not the hand.  This is helping me become less hand shy when she wants to pet me.  I have a gentle and kind nature, once I know you are my friend.  My foster says I am ‘becoming more talkative and more affectionate’, and that I have clearly been loved in the past and am ready to love again.  Though not currently a lap kitty, I do have the tendencies, as I make my way to be near my foster and turn on my snuggle bug side.  I’m even sleeping with my foster and want to be touching them – even if it is only a paw.  Perhaps, there is a lap kitty inside just waiting to come out!  I will likely bond with my special person once I am comfortable in my new home. • SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS:  I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.    • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I definitely like – and want – human attention. I’ve done best in my foster home when my foster gives me time and space – approaching me with a welcoming, outstretched hand.  Then, I meow and run right to her to get affection – letting out a few purrs of appreciation.  I still have a good bit of kitten in me and love to play.  In fact, the cat wand was a real ice breaker!  I love to wrestle and ‘bunny kick’ my toys – rather clumsily, which makes my foster family laugh!  I also love lick sticks. Just put some puree on your finger or on a plate and I am in heaven! / My foster has discovered that – though I am becoming more comfortable with being petted.  I don’t like to be touched at the base of my tail.  I can’t think of any other dislikes, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve!    • MEDICAL:  I’m up to date on my shots, microchipped and spayed.   I am looking for a loving, furever home with a great family!  My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.November 3, 2024, 8:07 am

Story
‘VIKING’ THEMED KITTEN:  Approx. 2.5 months old / Approx. 3 lbs. & growing Hi, my name is Torvi – one of the adorable Viking themed kittens!  My siblings and I were born to a stray kitty, who is now part of the Trap-Neuter-Release program.  Mostly Mutts was able to bring us into their program at about 7 weeks old, and we are now growing and thriving in the Kitty Room at the shelter.  Come meet us soon! • OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS:  I love my siblings very much and would likely enjoy another kitty in my new home to pal around with and learn from, so if you have a nice kitty at home already, let’s meet!  If you’re looking for 2 kittens, I’m sure I’d love that!  / Dogs unknown, but they must like kittens and be very gentle. / Since I’m a shy kitty, I think older calm kids who know how to handle a kitten gently would be best for me. If you have kids like this, let’s meet.   • PERSONALITY INFORMATION:  In my foster home, I was the most active kitten of the group – running, jumping, playing and doing flips.  When I arrived at the Kitty Room, I regressed a bit and was initially a shy but sweet kitty who took my time about warming up to folks, but – I have made great progress and am now readily accepting affection and attention.  I kept my foster families laughing at my kitten antics, and I am sure you would be entertained as well.  Because I need a bit of time to adjust in new environments, I’m looking for a nice peaceful type of home in which I can thrive.  • SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS:  I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  Now that I am growing more confident, I love to turn on my purr motor while getting lots of petting in a nice soft kitty bed with my siblings. I’ve also become a fan of being held and loved on.  The wand toy is great fun and I have been having a blast playing with it together with my siblings. / I would not want to be adopted into a busy or louder type of home and I’m sure I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention that all kitties deserve! • MEDICAL:  I am up to date on my kitten shots, microchipped and spayed. I am looking for a patient, peaceful and loving family to give me a great home for life!  My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.November 3, 2024, 8:07 am
