Story
Meet Molly:Molly is a lovely senior lady searching for a peaceful retirement home where she can relax and enjoy the good life. She's the definition of a gentle soul: sweet, affectionate in time, and quietly grateful for every bit of kindness that comes her way, along with catnip! In the shelter, Molly can be a little shy at first - the hustle and bustle just isn't her style. But give her a bit of time, a soft voice, and a cozy spot to settle into, a little pile of catnip to win her over, and you'll see her true personality bloom. Once she feels safe, she becomes a wonderfully warm companion who's happy to share quiet moments and soft purrs.Molly is also on a weight‑loss journey, and she'll need an adopter who can help her stay on track with healthy habits. She's already making slow progress with her vet diet!If you're looking for a calm, gentle kitty who will reward your care with trust and affection, Molly might just be the perfect match. She's ready for her forever home - one filled with comfort, kindness, and someone who appreciates the beauty of a slow, sweet bond.Walk-ins are prioritized. We are open to walk in's Tuesday - Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays). In order to prepare for your visit, you can submit a Pre-Adoption Questionnaire as well at;https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire Primary Color: Grey Weight: 7.65 Age: 13yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
Pepper is approx 6 years old. He is originally a rescue, but we have had him most of his life. Pepper is a nice cat that likes to be the boss in the house. He gets along good with other cats, and children. He doesn’t like to be picked up. His favourite past time is sitting on your lap while you watch tv. Pepper does not jump on counters or tables. He likes to go inside and outside and would appreciate a balanced home that lets him continue. we are looking to rehome pepper along with our other cat (sugar) as we can no longer take care of them. They do not need to be rehome together. Pepper is located in Kelowna

Story
Sugar is a lovely cat. She is approximately 8 years old. She is gentle and quiet. Sugar likes to cuddle and would sleep next to your face all night if you let her. She has a calm demeanour and is not aggressive in any way. Like a true cat she sleeps all day, and only rises for food, litter box or to see why the noise is. She will play with toys, but only if you play with her. Sugar does not jump on counters or tables. She doesn’t scratch furniture. She is an indoor cat, but will go out on the deck for air or to chew grass. She doesn’t explore too far or hide. We are sad to put sugar up for rehoming but we are struggling to take care of her. We are hoping to find a lovely family for her to be apart of. Sugar is good with other cats, excellent with kids but has no experience around dogs. Sugar is located in kelowna and available immediately.

Story
Hobbes is a debonair, long‑legged tabby gentleman who loves attention and will happily flop at your feet for pets. After his previous guardian passed away, he came to the SPCA and has been charming everyone with his affectionate, laid‑back nature. He enjoys cozy naps and tasty snacks-maybe a little too much-so a healthy diet will help him stay trim and feeling his best.He can be a touch nervous in new environments at first, but once he settles in, he's wonderfully friendly and loving. Hobbes is used to a calm adult home and would likely thrive in a quieter space, though older, cat‑savvy kids could be a great match. He has lived with other cats before and may do well with other animals given slow, patient introductions.Hobbes does have bilateral medial patellar luxation (MPL), a condition where the kneecaps can occasionally shift out of place. He manages it comfortably, and his main needs are maintaining a healthy weight and enjoying a lifestyle that's gentle on his joints. It doesn't take away from his charm-he's still a handsome, affectionate companion ready to bring warmth to the right home.If you think Hobbes might be your match, please apply in person or online:https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 7.28 Age: 4yrs 10mths 1wks

Story
Meet Ash & Pickle! An adorable and sweet brother and sister duo looking for their fur-ever home together. These young cuties can be a bit shy and nervous at first in a new environment but given time to adjust, and lots of loving pets and reassurance, they will soon let their curiosity win out and start exploring their new home. Pickle is the one who adjusts more quickly and will soon be all over you for attention. Ash & Pickle have lived with other cats before but we're not sure about dogs or children. They will need slow, proper introductions to new animals and kids. Young children may be a bit too overwhelming for them but older, cat savvy kids may be fine with time. Could you be the one to open your home and heart to this beautiful pair of young cats with so much potential and love to give?Ash and Pickle have been diagnosed with a condition called gingival hyperplaysia. They are currently awaiting a dental procedure. In the meantime, they are available for foster to adopt local to the South Okanagan area. If you are interested in this joyful duo, please submit an application online or contact 250-493-0136 for further information. Story
Meet lovely lady, Nala! This sweet beauty has a gentle soul and kind heart just looking for a loving fur-ever home to call her own. Nala can be a little shy at first but soon adjusts in her new environment and loves getting pets and attention. Her favourite thing is finding the best cozy spots for napping. g=Give her a sunbeam on top of that and she's set for a great afternoon. Nala will certainly make a wonderful companion who will enjoy lazy cuddles on a cold winters day. Nala is overweight and does have some trouble grooming her back end, which is why she is currently sporting a stylish short haircut. Her new guardian will need to be prepared to help Nala try and trim down to a healthy weight and get her girlish figure back plus help her with any grooming she needs. Nala has been diagnosed with a urinary condition called Idiopathic Cystitis. This is currently being managed with a urinary diet and anxiety reducing medication. Because this condition is triggered by stress, Nala is looking for a calm, quiet home without other animals or small children. If you are ready to welcome sweet Nala into your home, submit an application online or contact 250-493-0136 for further information. Primary Color: Muted Calico Weight: 6.66 Age: 3yrs 2mths 0wks
