Story
Hi everybody- I'm Nala. I arrived at Cowichan Cat Rescue with my three new babies as well as my teenager from my last litter! Yep, I was a teen mom and let me tell y'all its no easy task! Two litters and I'm just a young adult myself. Foster Mom describes me as absolutely delightful, clever, curious and cuddly. I've had my big op and first set of shots. I love to play and then chill on a cat tree please. I'm a curious little lady and can't wait to make your acquaintance. I am 100% an indoor kitty but a catio sounds like a fab idea! Should you like to meet me please review the process and policies of adoption at cowichancatrescue.org then submit your application. I'm a real sweetie-pie if I do say so myself. ~meow~ Nala

Story
Meet Danny, the tri-paw'd cat! After being discovered by a good samaritan in their front yard unable to walk, Danny was brought into care and immediately whisked off to the vet for treatment. He is now on the road to recovery and learning how to get around on three paws, but he doesn't let that dampen his spirit!Danny is a social boy who loves people, chin scratches, and curling up on his cozy bed. He is playful, curious, enjoys batting his toys around the room, and is always up for a good snuggle. While we don't know his history, Danny does not like dogs and has been hesitant with meeting other cats, but he absolutely adores his human friends and would make a wonderful companion. If you would like to give Danny the wonderful fur-ever home he deserves, please submit an application to the Shuswap branch through the link below!**Please note that local applicants will be prioritized at this time for foster-to-adopt due to Danny's local recheck appointments.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 3.75 Age: 0yrs 8mths 1wks

He seems to be a very chilled and laid-back young cat who adjusts quickly to new environments and loves cuddling up on laps. Hobbs certainly has lots of love to share! If you are interested in adding Hobbs to your household, you can come by the Kamloops shelter during open hours to fill out an application or apply online at the link below. https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Orange Tabby Weight: 4.76 Age: 2yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
Monkey is looking for a home that will absolutely spoil her! She is a big sweetie and is quiet and affectionate. We have done bloodwork and urine testing with her, and she is healthy although on a urinary diet called CD Stress that helps manage any stress related symptoms of her diagnosed stress-cystitis. She will need to stay on this diet, unless otherwise recommended by a veterinarian. She had previously lived in a home with dogs, cats and children. This was a little much for her, although she loves all people!Monkey is looking for a quieter retirement home where she can relax and spend her days being pampered. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application below.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Tortoiseshell Weight: 4.28 Age: 14yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
Rebel is looking for a new home after he was left behind at a property a few months prior to being brought to us.He is a very sweet boy but can have a hesitancy to trust at first. He is a funny guy and will hiss and grumble when he is feeling overwhelmed, voicing his concerns although he is super affectionate and loves cuddle time.Rebel would prefer a quiet home, likely no other animals and to remain indoor only due to his nervous nature. If you are interesting in adopting, please fill out the application below.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 4.73 Age: 11yrs 0mths 1wks
