Story
FOR ADOPTION: GERTIE is a super sweet and cuddly approximately 5 year old female that is looking for calm family to snuggle with. Gertie came into our care as an unclaimed stray from the Hazelton area. Gertie is a pretty low key lady that is looking for a family with the same vibe. She loves to lounge, snuggle and investigate every corner of her environment. Gertie has been non reactive towards calm and respectful dogs and could easily share her home with a dog like that. She’s also been very easy going with the other cats and would happily pair with another calm and gentle feline. Gertie seems to prefer the company of relaxed humans and may be happiest in a mature household but she is open to the idea of calm and respectful children as well. Really anyone that will spend time petting and cuddling her is going to be her buddy. Gertie seems to be quite happy indoor only but she could also come to enjoy a secure catio or backyard as the weather gets warmer. Gertie is spayed, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control. If you’ve been looking for an easy going cuddle bug apply today at www.NWAS.ca for a chance to meet GERTIE. #NWASGertie

Meet Mao Mao – Your New Best Friend! Mao Mao is a 7-month-old sweetheart who loves being around people. She’s not a fan of being alone and will always find a way to be by your side. She’s super friendly, incredibly affectionate, and purrs nonstop. You'll notice that she’s also quite the talker! Mao Mao meows back when you chat with her and always responds when you call her name. She’s full of energy, zooming around day and night, and absolutely loves her toys. Mealtime is one of her favourite parts of the day. She never says no to food! Story
Carly is an absolute sweetheart with a gentle soul. She was found all alone on the streets, which made her a little cautious at first, but once you start petting her, she melts into pure affection. Despite her rough start, she's incredibly loving and eager to bond with those she trusts. Carly is still learning the joys of playtime, but she's already captivated by the sites and sounds of cat TV. One of her favourite things is being snuggled up in your arms, where sometimes, she will fall asleep. She would find joy in having a buddy to learn the ropes of play and to snuggle with at the end of the day. Must adopt as a buddy to another cat.

Story
Meet Snoopy, a sweet and affectionate 13-year-old young senior with a big heart-and an even bigger love for pets and food! This lovable guy enjoys attention from his humans and will happily soak up all the love you have to give. He is house-trained and gets along well with other cats, making him a great addition to a feline-friendly home. Since he's a bit on the heavier side, Snoopy is on a special diet to help him reach a healthier weight. With a caring adopter who can keep up with his meal plan (and give him plenty of snuggles), Snoopy will make a wonderful companion in his golden years! We are open to walk in's Tuesday - Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).Walk-ins are prioritized. In order to prepare for your visit, you can submit a Pre-Adoption Questionnaire as well at;https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 8.21 Age: 13yrs 7mths 0wks

Needs special attention,
Story
Hi, I'm Blitz! To say my world has been turned upside down would be an understatement. You see, for 12 wonderful years, I had an amazing life with my best friend by my side. But recently, everything changed when they passed away, leaving me alone for the first time. It's been a tough adjustment, but I'm a resilient guy. Now, I'm looking for a new chapter. 12 years is a long time (not that I'm counting the days, but you get it), and while my golden years might look a little different, I know there's someone out there who would love to take me in and shower me with the love I deserve. I may be getting older and require a special Gastro friendly diet, but I've got plenty of love left to give. If you're looking for a sweet companion, I'm your guy! Story
Meet the sweetest Delilah! This little flower has everyone at the West Van SPCA swooning! Delilah was unfortunately abandoned in her home before finding her way into the SPCA. Sadly, she arrived to us extremely matted and needed to be shaved to help her along her way. Please don't overlook this earth-angel because of her age! Cats live long lives with advances in veterinary medicine, and senior animals make some of the absolute best companions. Delilah has the sparkliest green eyes and will stare into your eyes lovingly. She is happiest when she is with people, but even better when she is getting cuddles. This snuggle bug just wants to be by your side at all times. She wants to enjoy her years cuddled up on the couch, watching birds out the window, and lounging with her favourite humans. Due to her age, Delilah is showing early stages of renal disease, however, she fortunately does not require medication or a special diet at this time. Delilah needs a home that will prioritize and maintain her gorgeous coat with regular brushing (which she enjoys!). We do feel she would thrive best in an adult only, pet-free home, as she does not enjoy other cats and is very afraid of dogs. Delilah is in a foster home; if you are interested in adopting her please send in an application today! Primary Color: Black Tortoiseshell Weight: 3.7 Age: 12yrs 1mths 3wks
