Story
Stella is a sweet and affectionate senior cat with a heart full of love, ready to bring warmth and joy to her new home. Her soft, velvety fur and gentle purrs are just the beginning of her endearing qualities. Stella has a knack for making those around her feel special, and she delights in snuggling up next to her favorite humans, offering gentle headbutts and contented purrs in return for a little attention. Despite her age, Stella's playful spirit remains vibrant, and she enjoys simple pleasures like lounging in a sunny spot or enjoying a nice snack. She's seeking a loving and serene home with no children where she can continue to shower her new family with affection. Stella has lived with another cat before but can be a bit grouchy with new animals so very slow introductions and testing would be imperative or she may be happiest as an only fur child. If you're looking for a loyal companion to share cozy evenings and quiet moments, Stella is the perfect match-her loving heart is ready to make your home feel complete.Stella is a plus sized lady (lots of her to love) who needs to trim down a bit to find her girlish figure and live a healthier life. She has also been diagnosed with possible allergies and has been put on a hypoallergenic diet which adopters will likely need to continue or work with their vet to find a food that works for Stella. She is also being trialed on a medication to help with her allergy symptoms. If you are interested in adopting, you can visit our centre to meet this pet, learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person or submit an online application below. https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ An adoption counseling session with our Adoption Staff is necessary before adopting any animal. Story
This handsome little furball is called Fenrir, named after the wolf in Norse mythology, the bringer of chaos and destruction. It's an apt name, as Fenrir the kitten, is a small package with a mighty punch and whirlwind personality. He is a outgoing, energetic, and mischievous kitten who will certainly keep his adopters on their toes. You can find him bouncing around the room chasing toys, climbing scratching posts (or peoples legs), and just generally full of the zoomies. He also unfortunately does have a tendency to be rather feisty and needs to learn that people are NOT chew toys. He needs a cat savvy adopter who can work with Fenrir on finding an appropriate way to drain all that mass of energy and not put up with any of his temper tantrums. He is not appropriate for a home with young children due to his tendency to grab and bite but he would love to be in a home with other rambunctious animals to wrestle and play with, once he has proper, slow introductions. He would also likely make a great adventure partner if leash and harness trained. If you like a kitten, soon to be cat, with a BIG personality then Fenrir might be the guy for you. He may look cute and innocent but this little wolf will sneak into your heart and make life very exciting for you. Could you be the one to tame the beast? If you are interested in adopting, you can stop by the Kamloops shelter during open hours or apply online at the link below. https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Grey Weight: 1.92 Age: 0yrs 3mths 2wks
