Story
Moon is a sweet, shy girl who is looking for her new beginnings. We don't have much of a history on Moon, but we have learned lots about her while she's been in our care. She's timid with new people, and takes a bit to warm up and feel comfortable. Once she's comfortable with you, she will happily purr and rub her face against your hand. Moon is quite the chatterbox, and will meow at you when she wants attention. She doesn't seem to mind her feline roommate, so she could potentially do well with another cat in the home. Moon would do best in a quiet, adult-oriented home due to her timid nature. She loves to find a nice, cozy spot to curl up and have a nap in. If Moon sounds like the girl for you, send us an application or come down to the Comox Valley branch to meet her! We are open Tuesday to Saturday from 12-4pm. Primary Color: Grey Weight: 3 Age: 6yrs 1mths 0wks

Story
Meet Lucy! Lucy is a shy, sweet girl who is looking for a gentle home that will give her the time and love that she needs to come out of her shell and live her best life. Lucy has previously lived with other cats and has gotten along well with them. She has never lived with dogs or children, and due to her shy nature she would do best in a calm environment. While she has been quite nervous since she arrived here, she is starting to settle in and show us that she can be affectionate when she is comfortable.Lucy has an appointment to be spayed on April 8th. If you are interested in adopting her, please send in an application!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 3.6 Age: 3yrs 0mths 0wks

Story
At 13, she's a friendly, affectionate cat who never turns down a good cuddle-at least, not until nap time rolls around. She loves being close to her people and happily soaks up attention, purring like it's her full‑time job. So far she is loving getting her daily brushing, and playing with her favorite toy! Bella is a beautiful loaf, and is also currently on a weight loss journey! But she's also wonderfully honest about her boundaries. When she's ready for quiet time, she'll let you know with a slight hiss or a small shift away, reminding everyone that even the sweetest cats need their space. If Bella gets a little too rowdy, she tends to need some space to settle on her own. She's calm, loving, and confident in who she is. After all these years, she's perfected the balance between companionship and independence, making her a comforting presence and a cherished part of the family. Primary Color: Tortoiseshell Weight: 6.4 Age: 12yrs 8mths 2wks
