Hi, I’m Grayson – the softest, sweetest little gentleman still waiting for my forever home. I’m just a young lad, old enough to have learned great manners! I was found in Sahuarita, all alone and scared, trying to survive on my own. It took my foster mom 8 weeks to earn my trust… but today, I’m one of the most gentle, well-behaved and handsome cats you'll ever meet. People always comment on how incredibly soft my fur is – medium-length gray, with a fluffy tail and a tiny white tuft behind my ears that everyone says is adorable. I’m not a lap cat (yet!), but I love being near my people. I’ll purr loudly, rub against your legs, and let you pick me up for short cuddles. I feel safest when I have a cat friend to hang out with – I adore other cats and would be happiest in a home with at least one friendly feline companion. I haven’t met dogs yet, but with a slow, gentle introduction, we could be friends too. I’m still a bit shy when meeting new people, so I’ll need a quiet, patient family where I can take my time to adjust. But once I know I’m safe, I’ll show you how affectionate and silly I can be – chasing toys, purring non-stop, and curling up close just to know you’re near. Bonjourno! My name is Barilla! I am a luscious, beautiful, fluffy grey kitty, expressing floof in all my splendor! Can you handle my floof? I came from an outdoor colony where our caretaker could no longer take care of us and I found myself at Paws Patrol. The awesome folks there discovered that myself and my colony-mate Lainey both purred when our kennel doors were opened to give us food and we accepted pets! From there, we went to separate foster homes, where we discovered the love of hoomans, laps, pets and purrs and endless food. Now we're back together at Paws looking for our forever homes. While in foster care, I learned the wonder of pets and scritches, learned to love back scratches. Though I'm not much of a lap cat (yet), I would likely make an awesome couch cat! I purr quickly upon being pet and sometimes follow my hooman around. I am shy upon first meeting new people and sudden noises make me jump. But I do warm up over time. I am the independent type, so I won't hound and nag you incessantly. That said, I will always love some scritches when you have the time! Overall, I am a low key, easy going floofy kitty with an independent spirit but also a love for back scratches and attention! My name is Sorbet and this is the true story of my rescue, daring escape, being trapped, and how I learned to enjoy the comforts of a home! My brother, Ralph, and I were very sick kittens when we were found in Nogales just a few days before Christmas. With the help of antibiotics and a lot of TLC, we were soon well enough to go to a foster home. But I had other plans! On a chilly winter night, I made a break for it and crept out the window. I was free but now what!? I couldn't find a bowl of food anywhere and it was a little scary outside all alone. I stayed close to a business where a very nice man decided to feed me. He contacted Paws Patrol and wouldn't you know I ended up exactly where I ran away from! This time I went to a foster home where a very handsome cat named Grayson lives. He's dreamy, a little shy and also looking for his forever home so we have a lot in common. I like being with him and it sure would be fun to be adopted together. I've been in my foster home for two weeks and everyday I become a little more brave and affectionate. I feel like a different cat! A little patience and gentle persuasion has made such a difference in my confidence. Today I enjoy exploring, wand toys, having my ears rubbed, Churu treats, TV time, and bird watching. The purr-fect home for me would be a quiet one where I could be given time to settle in and feel comfortable. Maybe even room for another kitty (did I mention how handsome Grayson is ;).
