Story
Charlee, who is 4-years-old, had a very rough first year in her life. Charlee will only accept attention given with a loving light hand when she feels safe. She is shy and needs a patient adopter who can give this beautiful girl a chance to warm up and feel comfortable. She is happy to perch on a sunny window sill and watch the neighborhood bird activity, hopping down to see what interesting things you're doing. Charlee has lived with a senior cat in the past, so a low energy companion would be familiar to her. Charlee is a short hair calico who is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is spayed and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. There is a discounted adoption fee for a second cat that is adopted at the same time. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. From the Petfinder website (Petfinder.com) click the 'More About Us Button' and then click on the 'Adoption Application' button that will take you to the United Animal Friends website. Then follow the UAF website directions below: From the United Animal Friends website: Select "Adoptable Cats" and pick the cat you are interested in. To apply to adopt, open the cat's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. The fastest way to get to the adoptable cat page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-cats/ A United Animal Friends representative will contact you soon after receiving the application form. Story
Juniper, born 5/25/25, is a gentle kitten who’s looking for a patient, understanding home where she can take her time getting to know her new family. She may be a bit reserved at first, but with kindness and consistency, she slowly reveals her affectionate side. Once Juniper feels secure, she truly enjoys being petted and will happily soak up all the gentle attention you offer. She’s also a very playful girl and loves engaging with toys, exploring cozy spaces, and watching the world from a safe spot. Juniper, who is bonded with her brother Harvest (listed separately) would do better having her brother to make her transition smoother. So these two must be adopted together. With the right environment and a little patience, she’s sure to blossom into a loyal, loving companion. If you’re ready to help a shy but oh-so-sweet kitten come out of her shell, Juniper might be the perfect new addition to your home. Juniper is a short hair grey tabby with white who is current on vaccinations, is spayed and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered kitten (up to 1 year old) is $100 and for two altered kittens is $125 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. If a kitten is adopted and taken home before the required set of kitten vaccinations is completed, the adopter will be responsible for completing any of the required vaccinations including a rabies vaccination at 4 months at their own expense. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. Story
Victor is an 8-year-old sweet, but very shy and skittish, young man. He seems to prefer the company of other cats and dogs instead of humans. If you are considering a companion for one of your cats, this is your candidate. He loves to run, chase, wrestle and play with toys. At 7.5-years-old, he gets the zoomies like a much younger cat. Victor enjoys exploring and climbing. Though he only has vision in one eye, heights and balance are not an issue. Victor came to us after his owner passed away from a home that had many cats. He was surrendered with his 5.5-year-old housemate Gamma (listed separately), and while they are buddies and it would be nice if they could be adopted together, it is not a requirement. Victor would be happy in any loving home shared with other animals. Victor is a short hair, cream/chocolate Siamese mix. He is current on vaccinations, is neutered and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. Story
Gamma is a 6-year-old cat who is quite shy and timid. He is very skittish and will require a patient individual who is willing to allow him ample time to build trust. Gamma came to us after his owner passed away from a home that had many cats. He is very close to his 8-year-old housemate Victor (listed separately) and it would be great if they could be adopted together but it is not a requirement. Gamma has a fondness for exploration and often seeks out the highest possible areas to climb. He enjoys playing with toys and is currently being introduced to treats. Gamma has been in the presence of other cats and dogs and does not appear to be threatened by either. However, when around other cats his male dominant side comes out. With sufficient time, Gamma will seek attention by crawling into your lap and displaying his sweet purr. Gamma is a short hair orange tabby. He recently underwent dental treatment and now has a wonderful smile. He is current on vaccinations, is neutered and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. Story
Cloud, an 8-year-old white & grey male, has had a difficult life, but you wouldn’t know it. He is a gentle, sweet-natured soul whose only requirement is that he be loved. Once he gets to know you, he will follow you around, cuddle next to you on the couch, and snuggle in bed with you. He loves sitting in a sunny window! He would prefer a quiet home, and probably would do best as an only cat. Cloud is FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) positive. The FIV virus (not spreadable to humans) is generally a slow-acting virus, so symptoms may never appear or not appear until years after infection. He has no signs of illness and appears to be healthy. It has been shown that FIV cats can live a normal lifespan. He is current on vaccinations, is neutered and is microchipped. Please consider giving this wonderful fellow a good, loving home. We will be happy to provide more information about him. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (7+ years old) is $75 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. Story
Even though Princess Leia, born on 6/26/25, has been the only girl in a litter full of boys, she made her mark and kept her brothers in their place. She is a sweet and vocal kitten with a royal spirit - she has tortitude!!! She would probably do best as an only cat or maybe, with a slow introduction, with another friendly cat. Purrincess Leia, a short hair tortoiseshell, was found at a very young age with her littermates who we named and refer to as “The Star Wars Bunch.” They were cared for and bottle-fed by a wonderful foster. She is current on vaccinations, is spayed and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered kitten (up to 1 year old) is $100 and for two altered kittens is $125 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues.
