Greta is a young cat that has been through a lot lately. She was a feral cat that gave birth to a litter in her finder's roof. She is the mother of our "G" kittens; Gaia, Giana, and Geneva (they have all been adopted!). Greta is still adjusting to a domesticated life surrounded by people. For now, she will warn you away with hisses and swats. We discovered that she does enjoy being pet with a back scratcher; she is just not quite ready for real hands yet. We are confident that given time and space, Greta will learn that people are here to care for her and love her. Onyx was found by a good samaritan and although he was a bit shy at first, he eventually let them hold and pet him while waiting to find his way to Home Fur Good! Onyx prefers a slow and general approach while he gets acquainted, some extra catnip doesn’t hurt! Onyx is special in so many ways but an important thing to note is that he is FIV+ therefore a home that has other FIV+ cats or a home where all animals are calm and remain indoors would be the best fit.
