Story
We rescued Lucy as a kitten; she was abandoned and left in a field in Tijuana, Mexico. She is 12 years old and has only been an indoor cat. She is even-tempered, likes to snuggle (when the person is calm), and is used to being around people. She is ok with kids, but since she is older, she isn’t too comfortable with them picking her up and squeezing her, so she tends to avoid them when they come around. We have two outdoor dogs that she mostly ignores but is a little curious about (they did not grow up together). She likes to be outside, but since we have only raised her indoors, we don’t feel she would survive very long unless it were a catio or walled backyard situation. She recently had a kidney infection and is on wet food. We got her blood test results back, and she has a clean bill of health again with normal kidney functions. We travel a lot and have noticed that when we leave her, she gets depressed and lonely. A home with more stability would be great for her.
