Story
Luna is a runaway/stray that started visiting my home a couple of months ago. She is a sweet, affectionate girl, though she is a bit skittish (which is probably the result of her previous owners and/or her time living in the streets). She is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations. I was thrilled to bring her into my home, but unfortunately, my two cats are not accepting of her and frequently attack her. She has never instigated a fight or an attack. In fact, she frequently tries to befriend the other cats but with no success. She loves head scratches and to sleep by your side. She would thrive in a calm home where her owner(s) give her lots of affection.

Story
Hi, my name is Macey! I came to the Hadley Home for Wayward Cats sanctuary after my person crossed the rainbow bridge. I am a chill cat who loves people. I enjoy being where you are, receiving pets and affection, and lounging in your lap. I might be shy at first, but I warm up quickly once I get to know you. I like to sit by a window and watch the birds and any other critters that may pass by. Food is the way to my heart, so we will become fast friends when you feed me. I especially like Temptation Treats! I am currently living at the cat sanctuary that is meant for sick and elderly cats. I am looking forward to meeting you and finding my forever home! If you are looking for a cat who would like to be your one and only, I am your gal!

Story
This sweet little Tortie came across a young couple who Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR) stray and feral cats in the community. The couple got her used to eating in their front yard so they could easily trap her to get her fixed and released. To their surprise, this sweet girl was a mama! Within a few days, she brought her two young kittens to feed in the front yard. The couple was able to trap the mama and two kittens to get them fixed, and what they thought, released upon recovery from surgery. As this sweet girl was recovering, it became evident she had been socialized with humans and someone probably dumped her in the neighborhood. Tortellini came to trust her caretakers and allow them to pick her up, brush her, and even started enjoying the attention. Because she is so sweet, the couple decided to work with a rescue to get her adopted. So, this sweet kitty has been transitioned as a foster kitty at a local rescue and is looking for a second chance at a better life!

Story
Sweet little Zoe is a young adult that was found on the streets in a neighborhood about a month ago. She was found under a car crying and was taken in to get fixed while efforts were made to locate the owner. Upon taking her to get fixed, it was discovered she was already spayed, so the poor girl went through the surgery unnecessarily. Nevertheless, precious Zoe has been the ideal kitty in every way. She is so excited when you walk into the room and she immediately jumps from the window that she loves to greet you! She will sleep by your head and purrrrrrrr endlessly. Zoe has had a tough go at life as she was abandoned, but someone obviously loved on her previously as she is the most serene and calm kitty who just loves to be back indoors and only requires a window to look out of. Please consider giving this sweet kitty another chance at a good life. The person who currently has her cannot keep her as she is elderly and has 5 cats of her own.

Story
Remi is about 11 years old. We are looking to rehome him. He would thrive in a home where he is the only animal or if there are other cats, they are older and stay to themselves. His name is Remi. We’ve had remi for 10.5 years and love him dearly, but his behavior towards the other 2 cats in the home (age 5-6) is becoming overwhelming. We were blessed and surprised with twins so we have 3 kids under 3 so the stress is already quite high but when we hear him hissing or pawing at the other cats, it is just the straw that is breaking the camel’s back. I want to make sure he goes to a loving home. He loves going outside and comes back, but then we struggle with the germs that he brings back in for our crawling babies. He does great with people and has had no issues with our kids.

Story
Acquired her from a shelter in Phoenix. She is 2 years old, weighs roughly 8 pounds and is up to date on all her shots. She is the most lovable cat I’ve ever had, all she wants to do is be with you and be in your lap. She’ll is very curious and a very funny cat.
