Prince is just that, a real prince of a cat. He is regal and sophisticated but he is the sweetest most lovable gentleman. Prince absolutely loves affection and lounging around in the cat trees and soft beds. He does great with other cats and lived with several in the past. He is a handsome Siamese/Snowshoe mix who is 8.5-years-old. He has the beautiful blue eyes and fur coloration of both of these breeds. He was rescued with a number of other cats from a hoarding situation. Prince is FIV positive but could live with other cats as he is not aggressive whatsoever. None of the other cats from his previous home have FIV. Recent research on FIV cats living with other cats has shown that FIV is not easily passed between cats as it cannot be spread casually through litter boxes, food and water bowls, or snuggling and playing. This disease is transferred when an infected cat bites another cat and breaks the other cat's skin. This means that a neutered cat in a home is highly unlikely to infect any other cats as long as they are properly introduced or are not particularly aggressive in nature. Mocha is looking forward to her new home and making a fresh start after her owners had to move and could not take her with them. Tippers is one big lovable boy! The 8-year-old likes to talk and tell you about his day and then kindly ask you to give him ear scratches and back rubs. Tippers is friendly and affectionate and his foster mom says he is the champion of all lap cats. He is playful and likes to play fetch with his favorite mouse toy. Tippers is very gentle and good with children and dogs. Tippers has been diagnosed with early-stage diabetes, but the good news is that it is being managed with diet and a daily pill. Athena, who is about 3.5-years-old, is sweet, gentle and receptive to being petted. She is content to stay in your lap if you place her there, and recently started to hop up onto your lap when she wants attention. She is inquisitive and likes to explore. But she is a bit skittish - a sudden movement will make her flee to her safe spot (cat tree). This makes her a bit insecure and she will need someone who can give her time and patience. She was surrendered with her 2.5-year-old son, named Monty, who is listed separately. They engage in playing with each other and with toys. They are very bonded and need to be adopted together. They have been around, and are OK with, other cats and dogs.
