Story
Meet Gordo! Gordo, who was born 5/17/26, came to us with his brothers, Finn and Max, after their family moved to an apartment that unfortunately didn’t allow cats. While the transition has been a big change, Gordo’s sweet nature continues to shine through. The fluffiest of the trio, Gordo boasts the longest, softest fur and a truly handsome look to match. He’s an affectionate and loving boy who enjoys gentle attention and quiet companionship. Gordo can be a bit timid at first, but with patience and a calm environment, his warm and cuddly personality really comes out. Gordo would do best in a home that understands his sensitive side and can give him the time he needs to feel safe and confident. Once he does, you’ll be rewarded with a devoted, sweet companion who loves to be close. Gordo is a medium hair brown tabby who is current on vaccinations, is neutered and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered kitten (up to 1 year old) is $100 and for two altered kittens is $125 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchips, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. If a kitten is adopted and taken home before the required set of kitten vaccinations is completed, the adopter will be responsible for completing any of the required vaccinations including a rabies vaccination at 4 months at their own expense. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. From the Petfinder website (Petfinder.com) click the ‘More About Us Button’ and then click on the ‘Adoption Application’ button that will take you to the United Animal Friends website. Then follow the UAF website directions below: From the United Animal Friends website: Select "Adoptable Cats" and pick the cat you are interested in. To apply to adopt, open the cat's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. The fastest way to get to the adoptable cat page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-cats/ A United Animal Friends representative will contact you soon after receiving the application form. Story
Meet Max! Max, who was born 5/17/25, is a handsome, spirited boy with just the right amount of spunk to keep life fun. He came to us alongside his brother Finn (listed separately), with whom he is bonded - they must be adopted together. Their family had to move to an apartment where pets weren’t allowed. Despite the change, Max has kept his playful and active personality, always ready to chase a toy or explore his surroundings. Max has a preference when it comes to feline friendships—he seems to prefer the company of female cats or his brother Finn, rather than other male cats. If you’re looking for a lively, charming cat with a dash of sass and a lot of love to give, Max might just be your perfect match! Max is a short hair brown tabby who is current on vaccinations, is neutered and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered kitten (up to 1 year old) is $100 and for two altered kittens is $125 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchips, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. Story
Charlee, who is 4-years-old, had a very rough first year in her life. Charlee will only accept attention given with a loving light hand when she feels safe. She is shy and needs a patient adopter who can give this beautiful girl a chance to warm up and feel comfortable. She is happy to perch on a sunny window sill and watch the neighborhood bird activity, hopping down to see what interesting things you're doing. Charlee has lived with a senior cat in the past, so a low energy companion would be familiar to her. Charlee is a short hair calico who is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is spayed and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. There is a discounted adoption fee for a second cat that is adopted at the same time. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. Story
Meet Bobbie & Boots – A Bonded Pair Looking for a Quiet, Loving Home Boots and Bobbie, born 7/7/25, are beautiful littermates with gentle hearts and a strong bond. These two are looking for a calm, patient home where they can be adopted together and continue to grow in confidence at their own pace. Boots, the handsome larger brother, is the more timid of the pair. He’s okay with a little gentle petting once he feels safe, but he prefers to keep all four paws on the ground and isn’t comfortable being picked up just yet. With time, patience, and a predictable routine, Boots will continue to blossom. Bobbie, his petite and darling sister, is a bit braver. She can be picked up and, once she trusts you, truly enjoys attention and affection. She often takes her cues from her brother and helps him feel more secure. Both Boots and Bobbie are healthy, playful, and absolutely stunning. They love to romp and play together, and their bond brings them comfort and confidence. Because of their shy nature, they would do best in a quiet home without a lot of noise or commotion—ideally with experienced adopters who understand that trust takes time and is so rewarding when earned. If you have a peaceful home and a patient heart, Boots and Bobbie would love the chance to grow, play, and thrive with you. 🐾 Boots is a short hair, grey & white who is current on vaccinations, is neutered and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered kitten (up to 1 year old) is $100 and for two altered kittens is $125 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchips, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues.
