Story
Canelita is a beautiful 2-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Carolina Dog mix (best guess) and a medium-sized sweetheart who has already overcome so much. She is a distemper survivor and, while she may have occasional mild facial tremors, they do not affect her quality of life at all. Canelita is otherwise happy, healthy, and ready to enjoy everything she’s been missing. Canelita has a gentle, loving nature and does wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a great fit for many types of homes. At just 2 years old, she still has so much life, love, and companionship to give. After such a difficult start, Canelita deserves the second chance she’s been waiting for—a safe, loving home where she can truly thrive. 🚐 Transport Available! We offer bi-weekly transport options to: • East Coast: Louisiana, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island • Pacific Northwest & Mountain Region: Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Washington, Oregon, Montana • Midwest: Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa ✨ We welcome and encourage out-of-state adopters and will assist in coordinating transport at a reasonable cost. Could Canelita be your perfect match?

🐾 Meet Blix! 🐾 Blix is a gentle, easy-going girl with a heart full of love — ready to find her forever family! ✨ Dog & Cat Friendly Blix gets along wonderfully with small dogs and handles even the bossier pups with grace. She’s also great with cats and can live peacefully alongside them. ✨ Playful but Balanced She’s got the perfect mix of energy and chill! Blix loves a good case of the zoomies when she’s excited, but she’s just as happy curling up for snuggles and quiet time afterward. ✨ Good Manners This smart girl is puppy-pad trained and lets you know when it’s potty time by scratching at the door. She’s curious — especially about what’s happening in the kitchen — and she listens well to gentle corrections. Blix truly aims to please and just wants to be a good girl. ✨ Ideal Home Blix would thrive in a home with a big yard and other canine companions to keep her company. She loves being part of the action and would do best with a family that includes her in their daily life and adventures. ✨ Personality Kind, loving, curious, and loyal — Blix is the type of dog who will wiggle her way right into your heart.

Story
We picked him up off the street; he came over and crawled under my patio chair. He was tiny and absolutely emaciated. Out of compassion, we took him in and cared for him; now he is a handsome dog—and very, very playful. We did some research, and it turns out he appears to be a purebred Carolina Dog. However, he keeps jumping over my fence, and I’m afraid he might hurt or frighten someone. Raising the fence would be a major undertaking for me, and it breaks my heart because he is such an affectionate dog.Now Dingo—that’s his name—needs someone with energy to match his own. He is a protective dog, but not aggressive; my husband and I are getting on in years and can no longer keep up with his energy, but he is beautiful and xxxx@xxxx.x just needs time, because he is very smart and obedient; however, his energy gets the better of him, and he requires a great deal of physical activity—whereas we, with some effort, are barely able to maintain a normal life for our age.
