Canelita is a beautiful 2-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Carolina Dog mix (best guess) and a medium-sized sweetheart who has already overcome so much. She is a distemper survivor and, while she may have occasional mild facial tremors, they do not affect her quality of life at all. Canelita is otherwise happy, healthy, and ready to enjoy everything she’s been missing. Canelita has a gentle, loving nature and does wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a great fit for many types of homes. At just 2 years old, she still has so much life, love, and companionship to give. After such a difficult start, Canelita deserves the second chance she’s been waiting for—a safe, loving home where she can truly thrive. We welcome and encourage out-of-state adopters and can help coordinate transport to Louisiana, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and many other states. If you’re looking for a resilient, loving companion, Canelita may be your perfect match.
