Ivan is a one-year-old 61 pound Carolina Dog/German Shepherd/Anatolian shepherd mix that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 12/14. He’s a delightful, fun-loving boy that would like a happy fun-loving family. He sits for treats and takes them gently. He occasionally jumps on you, but with a sharp retort gets down. He does want to know what you expect of him. When he was across the yard he came running when I called him. He’s affectionate, playful, eager, lively, alert, and friendly. He walked well on a leash without pulling. He did his business when he got out into the yard. And he wagged his tail meeting other dogs. He loves to have his ears scratched!
