Location: West Columbia, SC Name: Penny Age: 9 months Breed: I've been told terrier mix, Carolina dog mix, feist mix, etc. every vet says something new - 41 lbs M/F: F Spayed/Neutered/Shots: UTD on rabies & dhpp; spayed Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: good with dogs and kids; was fine with cats before and can cat test again upon request Aggression or medical issues?: no known medical - read below for “aggression” Reason for rehoming?: was adopted and returned for being territorial over family from others. I did not witness these behaviors upon her return but I am someone who raised her for awhile. I do know she is extremely hyper upon return so it is quite possible she was simply frustrated from not being able to exert energy enough or wasn’t taught how to appropriately act or introduced correctly. Update: she has been back 2 months now and is fine as long as I pick her up to introduce her to people within the home and 100% fine as long as she is introduced away from the home. House/crate trained?: yes but still has potty accidents in crate sometimes Additional info/story (personality): Very sweet and affectionate. Have had no issues besides her being a bit hyper but she understand down and sit. Very responsive to treats and should be able to be further trained easily. Does extremely well on a leash. Message/comment if interested. Make sure if you message me to include the animal’s name since I have a lot of rescues I am trying to help rehome at the moment. Meet Molly - your soon-to-be furry best friend! If you're looking for a dog that has it all, you've come to the right place. Molly is friendly, playful, curious, funny, affectionate, smart, a bit shy, submissive and athletic! She's basically the ideal dog. Now, you may be wondering why such a perfect dog is up for adoption. Unfortunately, Molly's previous owners lost their home, and she lost her family :(. Molly does great with other dogs and she loves to play in water! She can be a bit reserved in New situations, but that doesn't last long! She knows sit and she is eager to learn more! Molly is hoping to find her forever home this time --- could it be yours? Meet Molly (formerly known as Miley)! Breed: mom was a Shepherd mix, we aren't sure what dad was. Age: est 3 years, approx birthdate 12/22/20. Weight: approx 45-50lbs. Training: crate, leash, and house trained. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes, she does great with other dogs. We will need to cat test. Good with adults/kids? Yes. She is a bit shy/reserved upon first meeting and in new situations, but that doesn't last long. Personality: timid/reserved at first, but she warms up to be playful and affectionate! She loves attention but she can also entertain herself. She loves toys. She loves belly rubs and when you stop, she will paw for more :). She loves to play in the kiddie pools during the summer. Reason for rescue: originally, Molly came into rescue as part of an accidental litter. She was adopted in 2021 and recently returned due to owners losing their home.
