Story
Meet Russ, a charming canine on a quest to find his FUR-ever home. Discovered at a park in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Russ's story unfolds with a tale of abandonment, evident in his longing gaze. Despite being left behind a month ago from when we found him, Russ carries himself with the grace of a once-loved companion. At around 3 years old and a sturdy 30 pounds, Russ is a picture of canine elegance, displaying the distinctive traits of a brown Carolina Dog mix. His manners are impeccable – he's mastered the art of leash walking and delights in staying close to his human companions. Russ is not just a pretty face; he's a well-rounded pup. Neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and heartworm negative, he's in tip-top health and ready to bring joy to a loving family. His good-natured spirit extends to children and other dogs, making him a versatile addition to any household. With a love for the great outdoors, Russ dreams of a big yard or even a farm to explore and call his own. If you're seeking a loyal companion to share your adventures, consider making Russ a part of your family. Adopt Russ, and let the journey of unconditional love and companionship begin – because every dog deserves a FUR-ever home. Satos (pronounced with a short A) are a type of dog rather then a breed.  The name is Puerto Rican slang for “street dog,” but they are also known as Puerto Rican Found Dogs in the U.S. They are the homeless dogs, or urban free-ranging dogs, that live in Puerto Rican cities. Satos are small to medium dogs, usually not more than 35-40lbs. They have large ears that flop, long snouts and legs that seem just a tiny bit too short for their bodies. Their fur varies from a short thick coat to longer, feathery details on the tail and ears. They come in every color imaginable.  November 2, 2024, 11:51 am
