A spirited almost two-year-old Carolina Dog/Basenji mix from Randallstown, MD, whose essence is a vibrant burst of joy wrapped in a luxuriously tan coat. Marvel is a bundle of energy, always ready for the next thrilling adventure! Whether it’s bounding through the woods on a hike, joining you for a jog, or joyfully chasing a ball, Marvel’s zest for life will keep you on your toes. His sleek, athletic build and bright, eager eyes tell the story of a dog ready to explore the world by your side.
Marvel's favorite pastimes include outdoor activities, where he truly shines! He’s a hiking pro who loves discovering new trails, but he’s equally happy with a good, old-fashioned game of fetch. This clever boy also enjoys mental challenges. Puzzle toys? Marvel’s on it! He’s already mastered tricks like “sit” and “spin” and is eager to learn more. With his quick mind and willingness to please, Marvel’s ready to tackle whatever new skills you want to teach him.
Marvel is looking for an active family who shares his love for adventure and can keep up with his energetic lifestyle. A fenced yard would be a dream come true, but he’s perfectly content with daily outings and exercise. He’s a social pup who enjoys the company of other dogs and has shown that he can live peacefully with cats, given a little time to adjust. Marvel also does wonderfully in public and is happy to meet new human friends.
Training has been an important part of Marvel’s journey, and he’s come a long way. He’s made strides in overcoming resource guarding, and to support his continued progress, a session with a professional canine behaviorist will be included to ease his transition into your home. Marvel is crate-trained and comfortable being alone for short periods, making him a great fit for families who may not always be home.
Marvel’s charm and intelligence make him stand out, and with his obedience training, he could even have a future in the show ring! He’s neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations—ready to join his new loving home.
