Please contact Darlene at 302-312-5129 (fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in Newark, DE. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 302-312-5129 (text or call) or via email at fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. &#226&#128&#139 January 25, 2025, 9:20 am

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/genericYou can learn about the adoption process by visiting:  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/.  Dog's Name:  Pup Chip (CHI0125ALAMD)Estimated Breed:  Carolina Dog mixApproximate Age:  5 months      Approximate Weight:  27.8 LBS Currently Living at:  Boarding     Adoption Fee:  $500DOG'S DESCRIPTION:  Hello, I'm Pup Chip! I'm sweet as sugar and twice as nice. I love playing with my friends. I'm gentle with everyone I meet, and I've got energy to spare. I've been told I'm quite smart, too! I'm almost potty trained, which I'm super proud of. And when playtime's over, there's nothing I love more than curling up for a cuddle. I'm a real cuddle bug! I get along great with other dogs, so if you have a furry friend at home, we'll be best pals in no time. So, why should you adopt me? Well, I'm friendly, playful, and I've got a whole lot of love to give. I promise to be your loyal companion, and I can't wait to find my forever home with you. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/  . Donations help us offset boarding costs and additional medical treatment for those dogs who need it.  K-9 Lifesavers receives NO federal funding and survive with your generous support! For more information on K-9 Lifesavers, or to view a complete listing of all our Adoptable Dogs, visit our website at https://k-9lifesavers.org/adopt. Please “like” our  Facebook Page  for the most current events and new dogs.Thank you for considering a rescue dog! ##2269610##
