Story
Meet Lady, a sweet and athletic girl looking for a loving home where she can feel safe and secure. Lady came to HSNEI from another humane society, and now she’s ready to find a family who will give her the time and patience she needs to settle into her new life. While she may take some time to warm up to new people and environments, once she feels comfortable, she’s a loyal and loving companion. Lady is a social girl who loves children and often bonds with them before adults, so she could be a great fit for a family with kids. She’s also friendly with dogs and cats in her previous home, so with proper introductions, she could thrive in a multi-pet household. As a natural watchdog, Lady will alert you to anything unfamiliar, barking at people or animals that approach her home or yard, making her an excellent protector of her space. Lady loves to play! She’s especially fond of squeaky toys, balls, and playing tug-of-war. She’s athletic and fast, often running at full speed and can easily clear short fences. But after all the fun, Lady is equally happy to relax on the couch next to you or snuggle up in bed for a good night’s sleep. If you’re looking for a playful, loving, and active dog who will cherish your companionship, Lady may be the perfect addition to your family.
