Available in TX, PNW and NE! Meet Ashley, an adorable 5 month old Carolina mix puppy, weighing 40 pounds and full of playful energy! This sweet girl is ready to find her forever home! Our little learner is picking up commands like "sit," "lay down," and "leave it," and she's showing great skill in loose leash walking and recall training already. Living with a medium-sized dog and two cats currently, she's friendly and playful, eagerly watching and learning from her furry friends. She would thrive in a home with another dog, as their presence helps her warm up to new things and experiences more easily. Though she can be a bit shy in new situations, her curiosity helps her adjust quickly to new experiences and people. One of her charming traits is how quickly she settles down at night in her crate, making bedtime a breeze. Despite her young age, she has the ability to relax on her own and will often put herself down for naps throughout the day. If you're looking for a loving, intelligent companion who's eager to learn and grow, this playful pup might be the perfect match for you! To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Deacon experienced a traumatic incident where he was stuck by a car, resulting in skin being torn away and a partial amputation of his tail. Fortunately, he made a full recovery and interacts well with dogs of all sizes, young children, and even cats! His playful yet gentle demeanor shines through as he enjoys running in the backyard with his foster sister and gnawing on his toys. He has a quirky habit of stuffing his toys into the couch, preparing himself for winter fun! While Deacon is still mastering basic commands, he is making great progress!   Adopt - Foster - Sponsor   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 4:40 pm

Story
We rescued this sweet, young puppy found wandering in our neighborhood. She is not microchipped and has been posted widely on social media but no-one has claimed her. Area animal shelters are full. She is very friendly and loyal; she will not wander far from her people. She is very affectionate and loves attention 🙂 She is playful and energetic, loves to run and explore. She would do very well with other playful, active dogs. She is smart and a quick learner, has responded very well to positive reinforcement training. Because she is a puppy with typical puppy enthusiasm, she would do best in a home without small children. We have 2 small reactive dogs at home who are very stressed with her around, so we are desperately seeking a good home for her long term. Please open your heart to this special pup who wants nothing more than to hang out with a family of her own!
