Story
Jewel sure is a gem! This incredibly sweet girl is so adaptive and remains happy and playful all the while. She's super friendly, loves greeting people, loves being pet, is affectionate both giving and receiving, is happy and playful around other dogs, and was shy and wanted to keep distance around the cat we introduced her to. She's easy going and will just be as happy as a clam to have a human and/or family to be part of. She would absolutely love going on daily outings to explore and would make a fantastic companion in whatever she's included in. She's at the perfect age, just around 1 year old, where she's got the exhausting new puppy stage behind her but is still ready to be active and learn all kinds of new things. Don't pass this girl up, she will make a lucky person/family very happy. Jewel is up to date with vaccinations, is spayed and micro-chipped. Her weight is currently around 40 lbs. If interested in welcoming this one of a kind Jewel into your heart and home, please email us for an application at adoptions@smilingdogfarms.org

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Cinch - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hello...all you fabulous people out there!! My name is Cinch and I'm here looking for a home, a family... one to call my very own. And since you're reading this, could it possibly be that you'd consider making ME a part of yours?!! I'm a charming fella who has found my way to the shelter after being found as a stray. The shelter is full and getting fuller each day so if you'd be interested in giving me a home, Hay Dude Rescue will pull me from the shelter to complete the adoption. At just 11 months old and weighing 45 pounds, I is just a pupster yet who is full of energy and enthusiasm for life. I has a heartwarming personality and just loves everyone I have the pleasure to meet. I truly thrive on running, jumping, and playing in the yard, and my playful spirit is sure to bring joy to any household. I is still learning some basic commands and how to walk gently on a leash, which means I will need a little patience and guidance to help me be the bestest family member. I would do wonderfully in an active home where I can expend some energy on lots of adventures and enjoy plenty of playtime! I would do wonderful having a playful 'sibling' to chase around stealing toys...err I mean sharing toys or do pawsomely with someone that works from home as their one and only!! It'll be a 'cinch' to lose your heart to these big soulful puppydog eyes and that heartwarming puppy grin! So if I could be a perfect fit for your family and lifestyle please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application and I'll take it from there. You can find it at haydudeequine.org

Story
**I am located in Georgia, but I can be transported north to you!** Name: Jupiter Breed: Carolina Dog Sex: Female Age: 5 Weight: 40 lbs Vetting: spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention House trained: Yes Crate Trained: She is crate trained, but her first experience with them was when she was with animal control, so she doesn't love being in one. Dogs: She has done well with male dogs, but has had personality issues with other females. Cats: She hasn't been cat tested, but can upon request. Energy Level: Her high energy side comes out when she wants to play. She will run and play tug-a-war with a maximum energy level, and she needs to play like this at least twice a day. But when she's done playing, she would love to just relax in the sunshine. Things that make me happy: Food and scratches, specifically butt scratches, and being with her human man. She loves her foster mom and is very protective of her, but she will always want to be a daddy’s girl. She is a terrible flirt and waits all day for an evening of snuggles with her foster dad. She loves her treats of raw carrots and green beans. She even knows the difference when given a choice and she will tell you which one she would prefer at that moment. And if you take the time to scratch her bum she will reward you by loudly purring. Things that make my humans happy: She is so smart. She knows how to give a high five, a regular five, and a double five aka a ten. She also knows No, Sit, and Speak and is working on lying down. She sticks to her schedule of eating and going to the bathroom outside, so as long as her human is consistent all will be well. Working on: Jupiter is still a bit wild when playing. She is not aggressive, but she doesn't always understand that humans don’t play the same way as dogs. She needs someone who can handle a dog who uses her mouth when playing. She won't bite hard, but there could be the occasional nip when your hand is too close to her end of her tug rope. She is also built like a furry little tank and she may jump on you when playing (she doesn't jump otherwise) and you’ll feel her compact weight and her nails. Before FAR: Jupiter lived her first two years on her own as a stray until she was picked up by animal services and was rescued by Furever After Rescue just in time to avoid being euthanized. She was likely never a domestic dog before she was rescued. She doesn't show any signs of having been mistreated by humans, but she will always be skittish around and wary of people. Special Notes: Jupiter is slightly skittish from having been on her own originally. She prefers the flight instead of fight reaction as her first instinct and will need her own special place to retreat to when she gets scared. She wants someone who will be patient with her and let her explore and understand what is expected of her. Ideal Family/Home: Because of her size and background, she wouldn’t be right in a household with younger children. She really needs a family that will be able to give her the love and attention she needs. She will want to sleep in the bed with you where she's not shy about being a bed hog, but she repays with sweet cuddles. She's good on a leash and loves a good walk, but not a long one, so she will need daily exercise through lots of playing. She would not be good in a home where her parents are gone 40+ hours a week. She is a special dog and needs a family that can appreciate her uniqueness. If you are interested in giving Jupiter a forever home, please visit the link below to fill out an application! http://fureverafterrescue.org/adoption-application.html It is best to submit an application through a computer. Story
Benji is up for adoption in TX only! Benji is a 1-year-old, 25-pound Red Heeler/Carolina mix who’s likely full-grown and ready to find his forever home. This handsome boy has a stunning red coat and an even more beautiful personality. While he may be a little timid at first, it doesn’t take long for his playful and affectionate side to shine through. Benji is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with both dogs and humans. He’s incredibly sweet and has a natural charm that makes him a joy to be around. He’s also a quick learner! Benji is fully potty trained (not a single accident!) and picked up the “sit” command in just a couple of days. Though he still has some puppy energy, Benji is well on his way to becoming the perfect companion. He loves to play but might chew on things if left alone too long, so he’ll need some monitoring as he continues to learn. Long car rides aren’t ideal for Benji since he can get car sick, but he’s more than happy to join you on shorter adventures. Benji is a great and easygoing dog who would thrive in a loving home with someone who can give him the time and attention he deserves. Are you ready to meet your new best friend? Benji can’t wait to meet you! Story
Penny is up for adoption! Penny is an adorable puppy born on November 23rd, alongside her 9 siblings, to the sweetest mama, Grace. Grace, a Carolina/Whippet mix, who has passed down her gentle and loving nature to Penny. She has a slight black tip on her tail and white socks on her feet which distinguishes her from her siblings. While we don’t know who dad was, we anticipate Penny and her siblings will grow into medium to large-sized dogs. Penny can be adopted 1/24 in Texas and February for out of state transport. Born in our care, Penny has been surrounded by love and attention from the very beginning. She’s playful and full of puppy charm, ready to bring joy and laughter to his forever home. Penny is very curious and likes to explore new spaces. While very independent, Penny likes snuggling for a nap and longs to be with her humans getting all the attention she can. She sleeps in a crate at night and is working on potty training. With frequent potty breaks during the day, she rarely has accidents in the house. She loves being outside picking up sticks to chew on, or bounding through the grass, tumbling and wrestling with her brother, Penny’s loving and spirited personality shines through. Penny is looking for a family who will help her grow into the amazing dog she’s destined to be. Could that be you? To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
