Story
Journey has been at the rescue for close to 3 years! Despite his lengthy stay he has continued to be incredibly sweet and affectionate. He is not only friendly towards humans, but also plays well with other dogs, making him an ideal companion for a multi-dog household. He is playful - loves toys. Journey also enjoys meeting new people, always hoping that one of the new humans will take him home. It is hard to believe that this friendly guy has been in rescue for most of his life. Is it because he isn't as pretty as some other dogs? It certainly isn't because of his behavior. Journey is waiting to have a home of his own with people who will provide him with the love and attention he deserves. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Story
Available in TX, PNW and NE! Meet Ashley, an adorable 4 month old Carolina mix puppy, weighing 35 pounds and full of playful energy! This sweet girl is ready to find her forever home! At just 12-14 weeks old, she's already on the way to mastering house training and crate training. Our little learner is picking up commands like "sit," "lay down," and "leave it," and she's showing great skill in loose leash walking and recall training already. Living with a medium-sized dog and two cats currently, she's friendly and playful, eagerly watching and learning from her furry friends. She would thrive in a home with another dog, as their presence helps her warm up to new things and experiences more easily. Though she can be a bit shy in new situations, her curiosity helps her adjust quickly to new experiences and people. One of her charming traits is how quickly she settles down at night in her crate, making bedtime a breeze. Despite her young age, she has the ability to relax on her own and will often put herself down for naps throughout the day. If you're looking for a loving, intelligent companion who's eager to learn and grow, this playful pup might be the perfect match for you! To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. To apply directly for Ashley click the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-521 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).

Meet Ty, an extraordinary Carolina Dog mix whose heart is as big as his friendly demeanor. Ty loves everyone he meets and has impeccable house manners. He’s non-destructive and gets along famously with dogs of all sizes. In fact, his foster family has only heard him bark once! Ty is incredibly smart, house-trained, and enjoys giving cuddles, making him the ultimate companion. Ty is about 1.5 years old and weighs 70 pounds. Found wandering around a softball field, Ty now enjoys car rides and embarking on adventures. He takes treats gently and has a playful side, often wrestling with his foster brother or trying to steal clothes when you’re getting dressed. At night, he curls up on the same bed as his foster brother, proving he’s not just friendly but also affectionate.Ty is polite and enjoys sitting back, watching the world go by. This quiet demeanor has his foster family joking about how regal he looks all the time.Ty is the perfect blend of adventure and affection, and he’s ready to be your loyal companion!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Howdy Do. My name is Gunnar. I just have to be the softest sweetest lovingest boy you have ever met. I am a Black Mouth Cur. I just love being around you, riding in the car, hanging out in the yard watching the cars go by or snuggled next to you while we watch a movie. If given the opportunity, I would love to snuggle in bed with you. My foster parents keep saying they just do not understand why I was dumped. I was found wandering out in the country up a nice lady's driveway. Immediately I could tell how kind she was. We hit it off immediately. But, I am still a puppy with tons of energy and not overly familiar with etiquette. So, the lady's daughter called the rescue I am with. The daughter knows the rescue will spoil me rotten while I wait to get adopted. My ideal family is one who likes the outdoors (running, hiking, camping, ball games, yard work), and loves to spend the day watching movies if the weather isn't cooperating. Please fill out an application and deposit to begin my journey to you furever. Gunnar Male Neutered Breed: Black Mouth Cur Age 7 months Weight 47 Great with people, children, dogs/ puppies, and/ or cats/ kittens. Adoption Donation $495
