Tracey, Nyla's foster mom, refused to put her down despite advice from two vets. Although the distemper has left its mark with a neurological twitch and a palsied front leg, Nyla has adapted and is now zooming around on her three remaining good legs. She is well-behaved walks great on a leash, and is a bit shy (which is understandable given her past experiences). Nyla lives with her foster brother and finds comfort in being near him. Her only special requirement is to maintain her good clean diet of rice, chicken, and other appropriate foods.
