Story
Meet Curtner – a lovable, energetic, and charming dog who is sure to steal your heart!  Curtner is a people-pleaser through and through, with his #1 favorite thing being getting pets and showering his humans with sweet kisses. His ideal day includes lounging on one of his many comfy dog beds, munching on treats, and enjoying his favorite activity: zooming around the backyard! When he's not running off his energy, Curtner loves to perch himself on the outdoor side table, taking in all the sights and sounds around him. This sweet boy is well on his way to being the perfect companion. He knows several commands like "stay," "lie down," and "away," and he's currently working on mastering "sit" and slowing down during meals. Curtner is also house-trained, although he's been known to do a little counter surfing in search of tasty snacks (a habit we're working on, especially since he's trying to put on a little weight!). He walks well on a leash, though he's still perfecting his manners and working on not pulling. Curtner is a social butterfly who loves everyone he meets – from strangers to kids to other dogs. He’s friendly, affectionate, and always up for a good time. He would thrive in a home with a backyard to run in, other dogs to play with, and people who will give him the attention and affection he craves. Daily walks are a must, as Curtner has plenty of energy to burn and loves getting out and about. If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate dog to be your loyal companion, Curtner just might be the perfect fit! ##2269836##

Story
Joey is the sweetest boy who had an unimaginable start. A Good Samaritan called Animal Control to report seeing Joey left in a wire crate in the neighbor's backyard with no food or water. He was very emaciated when animal control confiscated him. We are thrilled to be able to give him the second chance he deserves. Joey is thriving with a wonderful Every Pet’s Dream foster family. Joey is a young, mischievous, loving, affectionate, playful, sweet, snuggly pup! Energy Level? Typical puppy level energy House trained? Mostly.  Still some accidents but doing well Describe how they are on leash? Great.  A little pulling, but not excessive.  Describe how they are with other dogs? Good. A little nervous but not skidding. Friendly and interested  Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they? He did fine meeting a cat, but of course, slow safe introductions are always recommended. Commands they know? Learning to sit, leave it, no, and stay  What are their favorite things? Playing with the resident dog in his foster home and snuggling.  He really loves going on walks. What do they need to work on?  Not getting into mischief! Basic commands. Your home will need to be puppy proofed  as he hasn't learned that everything isn't a chew toy, including your shoes and socks. How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  Joey  tends to sneak into things when he’s alone and make mischief. Hasn’t been alone more than 1 hour at a time.  He needs to be confined to his crate for safety. Where do they sleep? In his dog bed What is their ideal home? Joey would love to be in a home with another dog to play with. With a family that will love on him and give him attention, walks and lots of pets. We have guesstimated Joey's Breed.  We have not completed his DNA. Our Adoption fee is $325.   For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online application:   www.everypetsdream.org/adopt  and  we will have everything we need to know to call you back and set up an appointment.  Follow us:  Facebook  and  Instagram   November 5, 2024, 12:10 am

Story
Rush is a funny, expressive, and cute boy. He will be 5 on Feb. 14 2025. We are, with heavy hearts, looking for a new home for him. We are unable to provide the best life for him. Rush was attacked by someone elses dog, and ever since then he has not been able to get along with our other dog. He loves people and is great with cats. He has the capability of being around other dogs only if they don't focus on him and can read his warning signals when he gets heightened. He has always liked small dogs and gets along well with a female german shepherd despite his fearfulness. Rush is adaptable and very go with the flow. He loves running around with a sock in his mouth, playing frisbee, or snoring up a storm. He doesn't like his paws touched but he is okay with being inspected everywhere else, and enjoys a good brushing. He is decent on a leash and loves going to petsmart or for a car ride. He is very food driven and will automatically sit for you.
