MEET MAGGIE!!! This sweet smaller gal, at only 35 lbs and 1 yr old, is going to be the light of your life! She came in with her brother, and will need to be adopted with him or into a home with another playful pup. She's active and very playful and LOVES to play with other dogs, so a buddy in the home will be a must, as she would not do well as an only dog. She's a bit too interested in kitties, so no cats in the home. She is already housebroken, doggy door trained and kennel trained! She also walks pretty well on a leash already, and is not a puller. Maggie is a bit timid initially, but warms up quickly and will melt your heart! She loves belly rubs and nuzzling up next to you~ We recommend older kids (teens+), as younger ones may be a bit too scary. She's currently in foster with an 8 yr old and does great with him but is not super interested in pets from him. MEET FOREST!!! This sweet timid puppy, at only 35 lbs and 1 yr old, is going to be the light of your life! He came in with his sister, and will definitely need to be adopted with her or into a home with another playful pup. He's great with other fun dogs and would love a playmate....unfortunately he would not do well as an only dog and definitely needs a buddy if not adopted with his sister. This boy is shy and timid, and will need about of week of patience from his new owners to decompress and trust his new people. He is already housebroken, doggy door trained and kennel trained! He's not a puller on the leash, and walks fairly well. Forest is a bit timid, but warms up quickly and will melt your heart! He's a huge love bug who loves to nuzzle you~ We recommend older kids (teens+), as younger ones may be a bit too scary. MEET FOREST & MAGGIE!!! These shy but fun-loving, bouncy pair would LOVE a big yard to do lots of zoomies! They are housebroken, Doggy-door trained, AND crate trained! They are learning basic obedience skills and have learned sit and how to take treats gently. These pups are very sweet, friendly AND super loving. They are just a bit skittish and timid when in new situations with new people, but warm up quickly! They are great with other dogs and LOVE to play. Bigger dogs would be better, as they still like to do 'pounce' play, and may not be best for smaller (10 lb type) pups. GOOD WITH KIDS and CATS! (In foster with an 8 yr old, and a kitty) But they must be adopted together, as they would not do well separated. Chupi is a 5-6-year-old Carolina Dog mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. This smart girl knows her basic commands and absolutely loves toys! She's a pro on the leash and makes the perfect hiking buddy. Though she might be a bit shy at first, give her a little time to warm up, and you'll have a best friend for life. She'd thrive in a calm, adult-only home with someone patient and loving. Chupi is a car ride enthusiast and adores getting pets. On her adventures, she walked beautifully with another calm dog and was cool as a cucumber around other dogs. During our day out, she showed no interest in playing in the water but was totally unfazed by joggers, cyclists, and people passing by. Birds, ducks, and lizards? Not her thing! Chupi sat politely for treats and enjoyed her post-hike feast of a cheeseburger, chicken nuggets, and an ice cream cone with delight.
