Story
Mavis is a cane corso mix. She is very energetic. She knows her basic commands and is good on a leash. She likes to play tug of war. She will sit on the couch with you and give you a lot of love. If you are interested in her, we ask you have a fenced in yard and allow our trainer to visit your home prior to adoption and three months after adoption. We do prefer someone with breed experience. We also ask that you live in Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Monroe or Schuykill count in PA or Warren county in NJ. Paws 2 Freedom Kennel License #14096. New Tripoli, PA 18066. www.paws2freedom.site

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Meet Tank! This low rider, with a lot of love to give, comes into rescue at no fault of his own. Between 8-10 years old, he is looking for a laid back retirement home where he either has a low maintenance gal pal or otherwise is the only pup. He does not do well with other male dogs. He is not good with cats. If you’ve ever wanted a cuddly gargoyle, this is your man. Slow walker and walks well on a leash. Also slow to rise, like 6p-7a sleep time and loves his crate at all hours. House trained and lets you know when he needs to go. This big guy is ready to be loved fully by a family who can give him all that he has missed out on for so long. He has a long, sad story, but we don't want to focus on that. We choose to focus on the now, because isn't that what dogs do? They don't dwell on the past, they are just here in the present. We want to see Tank in a family who will give him a loving present and future. We believe he is a Cane Corso mix.  He is a senior and we will waive the adoption fee for the right family.
