And she’s strong. She’s a beautiful girl. Loving and gentle, loves attention but hates excitement. She’s not a guard dog, she’ll hide behind you in the threat of great danger, or if a butterfly scares her. Quiet, soft, and sweet Ruby, she wants to be right at your feet. This dog is sheltered in a foster based, nonprofit rescue. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Ruby's adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $225. The following is a description of Hubert from his foster mom. Because, honestly who knows a pup better than the foster family! Hubert was found alone and scared on the interstate in Mississippi. When a nice lady stopped for him, he ran right to her. His foster family has had him vetted and neutered, and now they are treating his heartworms.  Hubert is about two years old. He is super cuddly, housebroken, crate-trained, and such a smart boy! He knows sit, stay, and down, and he will run to his crate and sit when you tell him to go to bed. He loves people and his toys, but he wants to chase the cat, and he is too high energy for the grumpy, elderly dogs in the home. So once Hubert has completed his heartworm treatment and is back to his active self, he hopes to have a forever home waiting for him.
