Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*foser update* Glinda is definetly the more reserved, calmer of the two sisters. She is a little more hesitant with strangers but warms up to every person she meets eventually!  She is a big snuggler and loves chewing on tenis balls! Glinda is a resilient rescue dog who was saved from a large litter where her mother posed a hazard to the puppies due to being overzealous. Despite her rough start, Glinda has adapted well and shown a loving temperament. She has experience being around medium to large dogs and enjoys playful interactions with them. While she hasn't been exposed to cats or young children, Glinda has demonstrated good behavior around older kids (12+ years). She is working on crate-training, which helps her feel secure and provides her with a sense of comfort in her own space. Glinda is curious, affectionate, and eager to please, making her an ideal companion for outdoor activities and a loving addition to any family willing to continue her socialization and exploration journey.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 2, 2024, 5:23 pm

Story
Ruby is a six year old American Pitbull Terrier/Cain Corso mix from a hoarding case where she endured physical abuse and many hungry nights. We suspect that Ruby was born and raised in that environment and has never received exposure to the outside world. Due to this, it takes Ruby some time to warm up to you.Once she does, she is an in your pocket type of pup! A wonderful sponsor is willing to cover my adoption cost of $225.00 so I can be adopted and enjoy being someone's best friend! All adopters must be vetted and approved to adopt from FOCCAS.Ruby has a way of making you feel wanted, when she greets you with a wagging nub and sweet face after a long day! She is very quiet and doesn't mind other dogs but would do best with a Male. She likes long walks and is doing well with leash training, and knows sit, down, touch and shake already! She does excellent when her foster mom bathes her and clips her nails, and is very patient. She is sweet and gentle until something scares her, then she jumps. She's good on a leash until something startles her, then she pulls.... And she's strong. She's a beautiful girl. Loving and gentle, loves attention but hates excitement. She's not a guard dog, she'll hide behind you in the threat of great danger, or if a butterfly scares her. Quiet, soft, and sweet Ruby, she wants to be right at your feetFOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. My adoption fee has been donated by an anonymous donor!!! If transport is needed, $300.00 will need to be added to cover extra vetting and testing requirements by the department of agriculture and transport fees (out of state, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions). Story
Good With Kids: Yes, 8 and up. Good With Other Dogs: Yes Good With Cats: Tested, but has not lived with cats. Housetrained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes House Manners: Good Walks Nicely On A Leash: Yes, Tess is an easy walker Knows Basic Commands: Sit Energy Level (Couch Potato, Moderate or High):Couch Potato to Moderate Special Needs: None Physical Fence: Preferred / No Invisible Fences Nickname: Dutchess Favorite game: Fetch Arrival story: Spent a long stint at the Saginaw County Animal Shelter. Approximate age / Weight: 10-years-old and 66 lbs. Personality: The Duchess has arrived. The Duchess of Waggin’ Tails that is! Ruler of the foster dog kingdom or errr… her foster home. Tess is a spunky lady, who loves to snuggle, go for walks, play with her tiny toys and zoomie around the yard. Queen Tess is a pretty easy-going lady and loves to just hang out with her people on her throne (couch) after taking you on a parade around her kingdom (neighborhood). She knows sit, and has more of a refined palate and leans into being more of a meat and potato type of girl. Tess is kind to all her subjects (cat and dog-tested). She is nervous around new people, so a slow introduction with lots of treats is the way to this queen’s heart. New Home: She likes to hang out with her people and is a great daily walking buddy. Would be happy living with other animals, but would also be happy to eat up all the attention she truly deserve as the only Queen in your home. Are you willing to roll out the red carpet for her? Contact: Please contact wtdr@waggintailsdogrescue.org with any questions or submit adoption application via our website www.waggintailsdogrescue.org/adoption-application. ADOPTION INFO: We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar on our website for the date and time of the next adoption event. Story
William is 1 1/2 years old. He is kennel trained and house trained. William loves to play, run and be a mischievous little boy. Due to some major life events William had to go live w/ my elderly father. My dad is unable to care for him due to health issues now. I am not able to take William due to my living situation and I'm unsure when that will change. I had the best of intentions for him and I NEVER saw this coming. Honestly I hate it. However I'm trying to put Williams needs first and that is rehoming him with someone who can give him the time he needs to be the best-est boy. I do think a household that has no children and no other dogs would be best. I will give the kennel that he has now to whom ever adopts him. He is a guardian breed and would do well with someone who has experience with a Cane Corso.

Story
*UTD/MICROCHIPPED/ ON MONTHLY FLEA AND TICK AND HEARTWORM PILL/SPAYED *good with cats *no kids under 12 ( she is very fast when she runs) *non- reactive dogs are best to pair her with *loves chew toys and tennis balls!! On Feb 08, 2024, Beauty was found wandering all alone in Sweetwater, TN near the dump by a Good Samaritan who posted on Facebook in a lost and found group but no one came forward to claim her. :( Our animal control officer, reached out to us for help with this situation and connected us with the finder. At the time, the Monroe County shelter was over capacity and euthanizing on intake. When she arrived at woofwoof fosters it appeared something strange was going on with her eyes. Turns out, she had a condition called Entropion which caused her eyelashes/eyelids to grow inwards! We scheduled her for surgery ASAP as this can lead to blindness if left untreated! Beauty has since recovered from surgery and is now ready for adoption! We have dog tested Beauty at our dog trainers place in Athens, TN and found out that she is good with non-reactive dogs ( we have been pairing her up with non- reactive dogs at our rescue for play) .She would do best in a home without young children as she has a LOT of energy, young kids could unknowingly get in her way. She loves to run and play and will require mental stimulation in her new home as well as frequent physical stimulation. We think some simple scent trail training or possibly snuffle mats may help meet her needs as she has a curious snout! Her most favorite toy is a tennis ball! if you have two, that would be great or else you WILL go through ALOT of them because she will chew them up right away! We are teaching her to bring it and leave it and wait for us to toss her second ball. sometimes, we will work with her on just one ball....but that is a lot more work vs having a second one ready haha! We do believe she is house broken as she has not made any messes in our home or the dog building. **We do offer foster to adopt to do a trail run** ( PLEASE ASK US FOR MORE INFORMATION AS WE TAILOR TO YOUR NEEDS/ REQUESTS AS NEEDED, THE BEST WE CAN) If you have any questions, please feel free to get ahold of us through here, or through our website at www.woofwooffosters.org . Thank you, woofwoof fosters -team This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.
