Story
Kali is a pretty calico kitty who came to us from a home that had too many cats. She LOVES LOVES LOVES attention, but she takes a patient person who will give her time to feel safe. She would do best in a quiet home where she can be the center of her person's attention. She enjoys playing with toys on a string and gets zoomies when she will run like crazy around the house, leaping up and across anything in her path. She has been in a foster home with dogs and other cats and has been okay, but she is not looking for a kitty friend at all. She seems to be fine with the dogs. She would not be good for young or excitable children, but could be a best friend for an older child that would chill out with her. Kali is a "Legend", being an FIP survivor. She was diagnosed and started treatments on 9 Mar 24. She completed treatments and entered observation on 5 Jun 24 and was declared CURED on 26 Sept 24.Available through Humane Society of Northern Utahemail: 1adoptions@gmail.comTelephone: (801)-648-2719

Story
Meet Caitlin Todd!! Caitlin is a stunning calico with brown tabby highlights! She has gorgeous hazel eyes and fun high-rise socks. She is a sweet old soul with a heart full of love. She can typically be found sitting by the window or cuddled up next to her foster parents. She doesn’t need much, just a quiet spot where she can watch the world go by! Caitlin appreciates gentle pets and will show her content with sweet low purrs. Sweet chin and ear scratches are the best way to show her you are her friend. She loves sleeping in bed with her humans and will curl in close! She also loves to play! She is really silly and likes to run around with her stuffed toys in her mouth! She will even go get it and drop it for you. Caitlin would do great with another cat in the home if you are looking for a buddy for your kitty or as a spoiled only child! She currently lives in an adult only home and does really well! We think she would excel in a similar type home environment where she can give all her love to one or two people! She is loving her foster home but is ready for a home to call her own! Don’t miss out on this sweet girl! We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! Story
Meet Katy! Katy is a pretty dilute calico with vibrant green eyes and the cutest underbite! This gorgeous soul would be the perfect match for anyone that appreciates a calm and relaxed lifestyle. Katy is an independent girl who knows what she likes but still has plenty of love to give! Katy is a calm and low-maintenance girl. She’s not demanding, but when she does seek attention, she’s as sweet as can be, offering gentle purrs and soft head-butts. Katy is a the perfect houseguest! A few of her favorite things include lounging by the window, soaking up the sun, and of course, the occasional treat. She doesn't mind if you have a busy schedule and will just kick back and relax until you're home! Addison and Katy are double without the trouble! They are affectionate, friendly, love snuggling and playing with each other. Their favorite things to do are snooze, seek out snacks, and chill in their cat tree. They would love to be adopted together! Additionally, if you decide to adopt the pair we will waive one of their adoption fees! Katy did have to have a few teeth pulled due to poor care living on the streets, so her only diet request is to have soft food so she can get all her nutrients! Katy is currently living in an adult only apartment with the resident cat and her best friend, Addison. Katy would thrive in a quiet home where she can feel safe and secure. While she might take a little time to warm up to new people, once she’s comfortable, she’s a loyal and loving companion! Don’t miss out on this sweet girl! We have found that she needs to be the only animal in the home to feel safe, happy and secure. She loves her wet food and will try to trick her foster mom into thinking she has forgotten to give the cats in the household their daily snack. Miku is a very clean and tidy cat and is litter box trained. Due to some unknown trauma in her past, Miku must be the only animal in the home. Once she is acquainted with the humans in her home, she will roll over and demand belly rubs and will weave in and out of your legs to make sure you know she's there. Miku is a beautiful gray tabby with gorgeous green eyes who just wants a home where she can live on her own terms and be the center of attention. A trial placement or foster to adopt may be an option for the right family. If you think you can give this beautiful girl a chance, please fill out an application today! ADOPT MOOSE! 🐾 Moose is a one-of-a-kind companion with a big personality and even bigger heart. 💖 This affectionate boy absolutely adores his humans and has the sweetest way of showing it. Every morning, Moose will make sure you start your day with love, gently nibbling on your ears and nose, plopping on your head, and purring as loudly as his little body will let him. He’s a walking, purring alarm clock that guarantees you’ll wake up smiling! ☀️💕 When it comes to playtime, Moose is the MVP of fun. ⚽ His foster mom calls him a "soccer cat" because of his talent for kicking ball toys all around the house. 🏆 Moose loves anything interactive and will happily spend hours showing off his skills. And then there are his famous zoomies—prepare for endless laughter as he zooms around the house making his signature “warbling” noises, looking at the ceiling and yelling hilariously. 😹 He’s a true entertainer who’ll keep you smiling all day long. Moose also loves spending time with other cats. 🐈🐾 He’d be over the moon to be adopted with one of his foster siblings—Carl, Eric, or Russell—so he can continue his zoomie sessions and snuggle time with a buddy. Having a cat friend in his forever home would help him thrive! While Moose is full of energy and affection, he’s also very shy in new situations. He needs a patient and understanding family who can give him the time and love he needs to feel safe and confident in his new surroundings. Wet food is the key to his heart, so keep some handy to win him over! 🥫💖 ** Moose MUST go to a home with another playful cat (or he can be adopted with a second kitty for half the adoption fee!). He needs a quiet, indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. He needs a patient family who will give him time to adjust, plenty of love, attention and playtime. ** Moose does great with other cats after proper introductions. Moose would be best in a home without dogs. He does well with respectful, older children and he is litter box trained. If you’re looking for a playful, loving, and endlessly entertaining companion, Moose might just be your purr-fect match. 🐾 Give this sweet soccer star a chance to show you how amazing life with him can be—he’s ready to be your best friend for life! *** Application link is below & must be submitted prior to a meet and greet. ADOPT MOE! 🐾 This fun-loving, social butterfly is ready to steal your heart! 😻 Moe is an outgoing, playful boy who absolutely loves his furry fake mice toys—so much so that he even plays fetch with them! 🎾 His foster mom swears he’d make a great cornerback with his impressive speed and agility. 🏈 When he’s not busy chasing toys, Moe is soaking up all the love from his humans. He’s incredibly affectionate and will happily chat your ear off, telling you all about his day. 🗣️🐱 If you’re looking for a talkative, interactive companion, Moe is your guy! Unfortunately, Moe gets nervous at our adoption events, which causes him to be overlooked. But don’t let that fool you—he is truly the sweetest, most fun-loving kitty you’ll ever meet! 🥰 Events can be super scary for some of our kitties, and that’s totally understandable! ** Moe MUST go to a home with another young, active, playful cat. (Or adopt a 2nd kitty with Moe for ½ the adoption fee!) He needs an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with.
