Story
Meet Poppy – The Sweet and Beautiful Calico Who’ll Steal Your Heart! Poppy is a stunning 1-year-old calico with a gentle spirit and a coat so soft, you'll never want to stop petting her. She is a bit cautious at first, but once she warms up to you, she becomes an absolute lovebug. Poppy takes her time to adjust to her new surroundings. But as soon as she learned that her foster family was a safe place, her true, affectionate nature began to shine through. Once she trusts you, Poppy will be all about the attention—purring, rubbing up against you for pets, and even flopping over on her side and back for all the belly pets and some extra love. She’s the kind of cat who will demand your attention when she’s in the mood for affection, and she’s not shy about showing her appreciation with happy purrs. Despite being found outside, it’s clear that Poppy has had human affection before, and we are convinced she would thrive with a patient, understanding adopter who can give her the time she needs to settle in. Poppy is not only a sweet soul, but she’s also absolutely gorgeous. Her calico coat is a stunning mix of colors, and her fur is soooooo soft—you won’t be able to resist running your hands through it. Poppy is looking for a calm, loving home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace. She would thrive in a quiet environment with someone who can offer her the time and patience she needs to feel secure and loved. Poppy is a calm, sweet, and beautiful cat who just needs a little time to warm up to new people. Once she does, she’ll shower you with affection and be your most loyal companion. If you’re looking for a gentle, cuddly cat who will slowly become your best friend, Poppy is the perfect match for you. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it!  Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a 30-day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.), a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.  We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000+ very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Story
Meet Helena Catgaryen! This sweet, regal lady is a 5-year-old calico who will steal your heart with her gentle nature and beautiful coat. Helena, lovingly named after a queen, has a soft and laid-back personality that makes her an absolute joy to have around—especially for those who appreciate a calm, quiet companion. Helena is a purr machine who loves ear scratches and will happily let you love on her all day long. Though she’s a bit skittish around loud noises or unfamiliar faces, once she feels comfortable, she’s more than happy to receive your attention. She’s not a talker but will let out the occasional soft squeak when she’s craving a little extra love. This sweet girl is more independent than clingy, preferring to relax in a cozy blanket or observe the world from a high perch, like her favorite cat tree. Helena enjoys window watching, keeping an eye on the birds and squirrels outside. If you’re looking for a more peaceful, low-maintenance kitty who doesn’t mind a little alone time but will still curl up beside you once she’s comfortable—Helena is your girl. Helena would thrive in a quiet, serene home without a lot of hustle and bustle. She’s not a fan of loud noises or lots of visitors, so she’d do best in a calm environment where she can feel secure. She’s not a first-time cat—she’d do best with a cat-savvy owner who understands her need for space and patience. Once Helena settles in, we could easily see her snuggling up with her person in bed, purring softly as she drifts off to sleep. If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing cat who will warm your heart in her own special way, Helena Catgaryen could be the perfect fit! Story
Meet Katy! Katy is a pretty dilute calico with vibrant green eyes and the cutest underbite! This gorgeous soul would be the perfect match for anyone that appreciates a calm and relaxed lifestyle. Katy is an independent kitty that is reliable, balanced and dependable. With that said, she also has plenty of affection to give! She loves belly rubs and will lean into ear scratches. She prefers to keep her feet planted on the ground but will happily come and roll on her belly for you! Katy is a the perfect houseguest and spends majority of her days lounging. She doesn't mind if you have a busy schedule and will just kick back and relax until you're home! Addison and Katy are double without the trouble! They are affectionate, friendly, love snuggling and playing with each other. Their favorite things to do are snooze, seek out snacks, and chill in their cat tree. They would love to be adopted together, but also would adjust well to another kitty friend in their forever home! Katy did have to have a few teeth pulled due to poor care living on the streets, so her only diet request is to have soft food so she can get all her nutrients! Katy is currently living in our indoor cat barn with several other adult cats including her best friend, Addison. She does fabulous with all the other cats in the cat barn! We believe she would flourish with another cat in her forever home to befriend! Don’t miss out on this adorable girl! Story
Kali is a pretty calico kitty who came to us from a home that had too many cats. She LOVES LOVES LOVES attention, but she takes a patient person who will give her time to feel safe. She would do best in a quiet home where she can be the center of her person's attention. She enjoys playing with toys on a string and gets zoomies when she will run like crazy around the house, leaping up and across anything in her path. She has been in a foster home with dogs and other cats and has been okay, but she is not looking for a kitty friend at all. She seems to be fine with the dogs. She would not be good for young or excitable children, but could be a best friend for an older child that would chill out with her. Kali is a "Legend", being an FIP survivor. She was diagnosed and started treatments on 9 Mar 24. She completed treatments and entered observation on 5 Jun 24 and was declared CURED on 26 Sept 24.Available through Humane Society of Northern Utahemail: 1adoptions@gmail.comTelephone: (801)-648-2719
