Hi, my name is Maki. I have been with my family since I was a baby and we lived in an upstairs apartment. Live was great! I even have a sister cat. We moved into a house and life just changed. When you are on the first floor and look out the window, you see all sorts of birds and squirrels and even other outside cats (the kind that fight and are very frightening to me) That really stresses me out and I have gotten jumpy. Now, my sister cat has been picking on me too. So, my human dad said that he would work to find me a better home situation where I can be the only cat in a quiet home. I am about 3 years old, and when I was myself, I was a bit timid, but warmed up to the humans in my world and my sister and I used to even play. So, what would be good for me, would be a quiet home where I can be your only cat. I would probably be better with kids over 12 - those little guys tend to be a bit noisy for me. I have never been around dogs, so, we can skip that too. I have lived my life inside and that suits me must fine. I will be brought current on my vaccines and microchipped as a part of the adoption process. And, I am very good with my litterbox.November 5, 2024, 12:47 pm

Shenzi is a cute little calico with pretty green eyes and a pink button nose! Shenzi is a little bundle of love! She absolutely adores attention and likes to purr and squeak when you pet her. Ear and chin scratches are her weakness! Her foster mom says she’s a professional cuddler. She is a fairly laid-back girl and can typically be found snuggled up with another kitten. But she does enjoy partaking in the daily kitten chaos! She loves to play with spring toys and enjoys chasing the wand toy. If your home needs an affectionate social butterfly, Shenzi is the kitten for you! Shenzi is very much a little shadow and loves her people fiercely! Do you work from home and need a perfect work buddy? Look no further!! **Shenzi was unfortunately born with a cherry eye (which is very rare in cats). She has had multiple correction surgeries to correct her cherry eye but this may be something to consider in future care. This does not inhibit her whatsoever, she is still the most perfect kitten!** Shenzi would do well with another kitty in her forever home (but would also be just fine being the lone cat as that means more attention from her humans!) She enjoys a good kitten nap pile every now and then too. Shenzi is in an amazing foster home that is teaching her the ropes! She is currently fostered with another kitten and the resident adult cat.
