Story
MAMACITA and BEAU are a marvelous mother and son bonded pair of kitties looking for a loving home.  Mamacita has a beautiful mix of calico and tabby markings, while Beau is white with orange tabby spots (a cow kitty).  They are fond of Churu treats and adore a front row seat for Cat TV (aka, a window to look out of).  Beau also loves little toys that he can throw around and chase.  Mamacita came to CRAN as a rescue with a litter of kittens, and with Beau, her oldest baby from a previous litter.  All her other kittens have found homes, and now it’s this pair's turn to find a devoted home to enjoy some rest and relaxation.  Mamacita and Beau are both still shy and need an adopter who is willing to create a quiet and safe space for them to acclimate to their new home and get their bearings.  Both are very sweet, and it will be so worthwhile to give them some time to adjust to their surroundings.  They will reward you in spades with their sweet faces and affection! Mamacita and Beau have been altered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet Mamacita and Beau in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $225 adoption fee (for the pair) allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Story
**NOTE:  SPECIAL NEEDS CAT** LEMONADE is a gorgeous and fluffy young calico manx female kitty.  She is a very friendly, affectionate and playful girl.  She loves to be petted, and will often roll over and show you her belly.  Lemonade was born with spina bifida, and CRAN sent her to a specialist in Portland who operated on her spine to correct the condition.  After she healed, she was adopted and lived happily with her new family for several years until 2 new cats were added to the household, and Lemonade could not adjust.  She is on a special urinary tract diet—mostly canned food.  She will do best as an only cat, and because of her manx condition, she must be monitored for her lifetime.  Her adopter should be experienced with long-haired cats.  Lemonade is a happy and confident kitty.  Are you that special someone who will provide a forever home for this beautiful and sweet little lady? LEMONADE has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet LEMONADE in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at Petsmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. Because she is a special needs kitty, she has a special adoption fee of $70, which allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Story
Sweet Poppy is an lively, attentive kitty, loves to play with other kitties but for some reason, is not keen on human touch.  This has made it hard for her to find her forever home.   She would do well in a home with other cats and does love to play with humans, as long as it is from a distance, especially with a laser light. Capturing that red dot is her mission in life! She may not be a lap cat, but she can still bring your home joy of watching her enjoy life. She would do best in a home that has other cats as company. She does not like dogs and would be uncomfortable around kids. Do you have a warm heart and a patient home?  Let her be the shining star in your family. Because all of our kitties are in foster homes we do visitations with our cats with pre-approved adoption applications. We place our kittens and cats in homes with the best fit based on personality, age, and location.  Here is a link to the application: https://tinyurl.com/KeithasKittiesApplication ##969481##

Story
Leo is bonded with His sister Penny.  Thier foster affectionately calls them tweedle dee and tweedle dum.  They tumble and play hard together, and can be found snuggling quite frequently.  Leo is the more outwardly social of the two (will BEG for belly scritches), but Penn comes in a close second.  She loves to be near and get chin rubs in particular.  Feather toys, overarching exciting things, and bird watching all get the chatter going. Every litter has the assumed leader and extrovert, and Leo happily assumes that role among his current sibling group.  Quick to greet you at the door with his sister Penny, he is chatty, eager, and the first to engage in whatever you're doing, whether it's relaxation time or playtime with a string toy (his favorite).  He likes initiating a heavy chase/play session with fellow residents, and is first in line for mealtime.  Pretty sure he doesn't realize he's not a human child, as he follows you around and needs proximity to his favorite people.  He will curl up on the couch with you, and loves being under blankets. Leo does not mind being picked up and held in a calm environment. You can pet him and move around for a bit, but he has places to go, so when he is ready, he will jump down and continue his adventures.  He loves all the toys! He would do great in a home with one of his siblings or with another young cat to play with.  He would do okay with cats, dogs and kids and has excellent litter box manners. Because all of our kitties are in foster homes we do visitations with our cats with pre-approved adoption applications. We place our kittens and cats in homes with the best fit based on personality, age, and location.  Here is a link to the application: https://tinyurl.com/KeithasKittiesApplication   ##1711185##

Story
Penny is bonded with her brother Leo. If Disney were to illustrate a "teenage" tabby kitten for a new movie, the result would look a lot like Penny.  She's got a pert little nose, round face, and big luminous eyes.  She's happiest receiving chin scritches and lounging adjacent to you on a quiet afternoon.  Penny will on a dime swap from playtime with her brother to a good scratch session on her favorite cardboard lounger or corded post, with some possible human snuggles in this mix.  Her current favorite spots to nap include the hanging basket on the cat tree or curled with a sibling in a cozy bed, but with time may discover that human laps are the best thing since sliced bread.   She is a very proper lady, and her litter box habits are immaculate.   Because all of our kitties are in foster homes we do visitations with our cats with pre-approved adoption applications.
