Katy is a calm and low-maintenance girl. She’s not demanding, but when she does seek attention, she’s as sweet as can be, offering gentle purrs and soft head-butts. Katy is a the perfect houseguest! Katy did have to have a few teeth pulled due to poor care living on the streets, so her only diet request is to have soft food so she can get all her nutrients! Meet Meka, a 15-year-old cat with a heart as soft as her fur. She spent her life as a loving companion, bringing warmth and comfort to her family. Meka is the perfect lap cat; gentle, sweet, and happy to spend her days purring contentedly. She's well-mannered, box-trained, and never damages furniture. Despite her age, Meka still enjoys lounging in the sun and even climbing trees occasionally. Her health is managed with supplements for her renal and thyroid needs, and she takes them with ease. Life has changed for her family, and they can no longer give her the attention she deserves. Meka thrives in a calm, quiet home where she can once again be the center of someones world. Charlotte is a very unique cat with a story to tell. Her beautiful coat is described as a 'Tabico'. She is a combination of a Tabby and a Calico. She is very sweet and loves attention. She started out her life in a hoarding situation with around 150 cats. When she was about 1 years old, half of the cats went to a rescue group and the other half became a colony in the area. She was part of the colony. About 2 years ago when the building was being demolished, she lost her eye. She became spayed last December after a number of litters of kittens. She recently had surgery to clean up the area of where her eye was and have it sutured closed, in order to prevent infections. Charlotte will talk to you and is a loving cat. She is pretty mellow and easy going but because of living in the colony, she has learned to take care of herself. She adjusts well to new situations. She was around children and other cats but she does not like dogs. She has been spayed, microchipped, received all her vaccinations, dewormed and tested for FeLV/FIV so she is good to go to her new home. We adopted Daisy 5 years ago from the Cat Adoption Team in Sherwood. She had been a stray cat and at the time she was about a year old and was described as quiet, sweet, and curious. Our mom adopted her and since she passed away we've been caring for Daisy. She is very sweet, a little shy in the beginning with new people but is now a very loving and trusting cat. She is mainly an indoor cat but also likes to go outside if the weather is nice. She doesn't go far once she's familiar with the area and where she gets her food. We are hoping to find a loving person or family who will take care of her as we are moving into apartments that generally do not allow pets. We wouldn't want her to be alone all day so if someone is usually home or if there's another cat to keep her company that would be ideal. She loves to be petted and brushed and enjoys looking out the window from her cat tree to see what's going on outside.
