Story
Phoebe is a sweet, loving cat. We got her when she was just a kitten and initially did great in our home. Over the years, my disabled brothers anxiety with animals got a little worse and she isn't doing well in our home now. She would do best in a different environment, one where she can be her lazy self and get love and attention on her own terms. She loves Dental and Temptations treats and loves being brushed, but again on her terms. Phoebe lives in Salem with her owners. She is indoor only and her rehoming fee is $50   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 11, 2024, 11:30 pm

Story
Shenzi is a cute little calico with pretty green eyes and a pink button nose! Shenzi is a little bundle of love! She absolutely adores attention and likes to purr and squeak when you pet her. Ear and chin scratches are her weakness! Her foster mom says she’s a professional cuddler. She loves to be carried around in fuzzy blankets 24/7! She is a fairly laid-back girl and can typically be found snuggled up with another kitten. But she does enjoy partaking in the daily kitten chaos! She loves to play with spring toys and enjoys chasing the wand toy. If your home needs an affectionate social butterfly, Shenzi is the kitten for you! Shenzi is very much a little shadow and loves her people fiercely! Do you work from home and need a perfect work buddy? Look no further!! **Shenzi was unfortunately born with a cherry eye (which is very rare in cats). She has had multiple correction surgeries to correct her cherry eye but this may be something to consider in future care. This does not inhibit her whatsoever, she is still the most perfect kitten!** Shenzi would do well with another kitty in her forever home (but would also be just fine being the lone cat as that means more attention from her humans!) She enjoys a good kitten nap pile every now and then too. Shenzi is in an amazing foster home that is teaching her the ropes! She is currently fostered with another foster kitten and several kids. She does great with everyone in the household and adores kids! She would make the perfect addition to any home. Shenzi is ready to fill your home with love and warmth! Meet Katy! Katy is a pretty dilute calico with vibrant green eyes and the cutest underbite! This gorgeous soul would be the perfect match for anyone that appreciates a calm and relaxed lifestyle. Katy is an independent kitty that is reliable, balanced and dependable. With that said, she also has plenty of affection to give! She loves belly rubs and will lean into ear scratches. She prefers to keep her feet planted on the ground but will happily come and roll on her belly for you! Katy is a the perfect houseguest and spends majority of her days lounging. She doesn't mind if you have a busy schedule and will just kick back and relax until you're home! Addison and Katy are double without the trouble! They are affectionate, friendly, love snuggling and playing with each other. Their favorite things to do are snooze, seek out snacks, and chill in their cat tree. They would love to be adopted together! Additionally, if you decide to adopt the pair we will waive one of their adoption fees! Katy did have to have a few teeth pulled due to poor care living on the streets, so her only diet request is to have soft food so she can get all her nutrients! Katy is currently living in an apartment with the resident cat and her best friend, Addison. We believe she would flourish with another cat in her forever home to befriend! Story
Meet Helena Catgaryen! This sweet, regal lady is a 2-year-old calico who will steal your heart with her gentle nature and beautiful coat. Helena, lovingly named after a queen, has a soft and laid-back personality that makes her an absolute joy to have around—especially for those who appreciate a calm, quiet companion. Helena is a purr machine who loves ear scratches and will happily let you love on her all day long. Though she’s a bit skittish around loud noises or unfamiliar faces, once she feels comfortable, she’s more than happy to receive your attention. She’s not a talker but will let out the occasional soft squeak when she’s craving a little extra love. This sweet girl is more independent than clingy, preferring to relax in a cozy blanket or observe the world from a high perch, like her favorite cat tree. Helena enjoys window watching, keeping an eye on the birds and squirrels outside. If you’re looking for a more peaceful, low-maintenance kitty who doesn’t mind a little alone time but will still curl up beside you once she’s comfortable—Helena is your girl. Helena would thrive in a quiet, serene home without a lot of hustle and bustle. She’s not a fan of loud noises or lots of visitors, so she’d do best in a calm environment where she can feel secure. She’s not a first-time cat—she’d do best with a cat-savvy owner who understands her need for space and patience. Once Helena settles in, we could easily see her snuggling up with her person in bed, purring softly as she drifts off to sleep. If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing cat who will warm your heart in her own special way, Helena Catgaryen could be the perfect fit! Story
Jax is a very loving and cuddly young man. His favorite past time is lounging on the couch and cuddling with my partner. He is always friendly with guests after a short period of warming up to them. He loves to be brushed and treated like a king. He has lived with our 2 other cats for the past 2 years with no problems, although he has recently had some behavioral problems, perhaps territorial i.e. marking and defecating outside the litter box. He has been taken to the vet to rule out any underlying causes and came back all clear, we are out options in our situation and want him to be in a home where he feels comfortable and safe. As we are in a fairly small apartment, we think he would thrive in home with no other cats or more space that he can call his own.

Story
Sadira is an incredibly social, friendly, outgoing and super affectionate and cuddly kitty. And he has the softest shiny coat ever. He prefers to be an indoor kitty as he was abandoned outdoors by a past owner. He does however really enjoy a nice cozy spot to gaze out and watch over the neighborhood/ He also enjoys being brushed and loves to play. He loves to be near his person and snuggle. He has a very strong purr. I am very attached to him and it will be hard to part ways, unfortunately he and my other cat just cannot seem to share living space. He does require someone who can give him regular attention and affection and also be comfortable giving him medication for his thyroid to keep it at a healthy level. He is one of the sweetest cats I have ever had the opportunity to connect with and is very much in need of a good home.
