Story
Maize, [May-zee] AKA "Kitty" is a 6 year old calico and one of the the most loving cat I have ever known. She loves to lay on her peoples' laps, chest, etc. and loudly purr the whole time doing so and sleep between your legs at night. She likes being held over shoulder like a baby and can never get high enough. She is house trained and has always been an indoor cat. However, we have taken her on walks in a cat backpack and has some light experience with a leash and harness. We have let her outside in the yard while supervised and she loves that too. Unfortunately, dogs make her VERY stressed, and we have three, so we highly recommend that the family that takes her be a cat only house at minimum if not a single pet household altogether. She is currently in her own separate room for her own peace of mind, but she's so loving that she deserves a family that can give her that love she craves 24/7 without being cooped up.

Story
Rosemary (Rosie): She is independent and can be shy, but loves to be petted and cuddled when she comes around people. Her coat is beautiful, but does need to be brushed regularly to avoid knots. Fun fact- she and the other female cats in her litter were all born without tails. It is with a heavy heart that we need to re-home our two cats. We have had them with us for over five years now (since they were 6 weeks old!). However, we have come to realize that they are no longer thriving with a curious toddler around, and we foresee more challenges once we bring a new baby home in a month. We have no desire to drop them off at a shelter, so we are looking for them to be in a home (or two separate homes) where it is slower paced without small children. They are very sweet with children, but in their presence can become easily overstimulated. They are not aggressive, do not scratch or bite and have always been indoor cats. Reach out if you think you would be cat parents!

Story
This is Mabel. She's a loving purr box who likes to stay cozy and chase after toys. I am heartbroken to re-home her, but I've tried for three years to encourage her and the cat I had before her to get along. They just make each other incredibly anxious and it's not been good for any of us. She's as sweet as can be, likes to be held like she's in a hammock as shown in the picture, will have conversations with you, and sometimes follow you around like a puppy. She's great company.
