Eleanor came to HHR as a stray from a rough neighborhood known for being a dumping ground for unwanted cats. We attempted to find an owner but she was never reclaimed. Eleanor gets along fine with other cats and would be a perfect first time/family kitty. Eleanor is about a 2-3 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. Meet Taylor — the shy sweetheart of our Summer I Turned Pretty litter. This gorgeous five-month-old calico is not only stunning but also a polydactyl girl, meaning she has extra toes that make her paws look like adorable little mittens. Taylor was rescued in Bridgeport alongside her siblings — Jeremiah, Conrad, and Isabel — and she has been blossoming in her foster home. Just she and Jeremiah remain and they are especially close so we'd love to find them a home together. Taylor is a playful, curious little girl who loves chasing toys and wrestling with her kitty friends. She absolutely adores the company of other cats and must be adopted into a home with a feline companion to help boost her confidence and happiness. Though she can be a bit shy if approached too quickly, Taylor has a soft, tender heart. Approach her gently while she’s cozy in her cat bed, and she’ll happily roll over for sweet belly rubs. Betty is as resilient as she is sweet, surviving outside as they did. And, Betty was never one to turn down solving a mystery, so let's help her solve the mystery of finding her forever family. She'll follow the clues right to her new home, so let's help her out and fill out an application! This is "Chester". He is about 2 years and 1 month old. A few months ago we got a call from someone on Chestnut Avenue in Waterbury (hence the name "Chester") who was feeding Chester for a while and then Chester got sick from another cat. We took Chester in then and he was very very sick. He was so sick he could not breath, he was very congested, he was drooling a lot and he was not eating. He was just skin and bones! Chester is now completely different from what he was. He did a 100% turnaround! It took us about a month to help make him feel better. He is a healthy cat now and no more skin and bones! Chester gets along with other cats. As for dogs, he could probably live with a calm small dog. In Chester's new home, children must be 6 years old or older. Chester got neutered, he got his shots and he tested negative for feline leukemia/aids. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Here is our litter of 4 kittens that are ready to find their forever homes. Meet "Dilly" and "Dally" (the twins), "Storm" and little "Teensie". Dilly and Teensie are females.
