Calico kittens & cats in Meriden, Connecticut

This kitten was found with her brother abandoned under a bush in hamden. They were brought in, saved of starvation, beat the odds, and found a home. However the original owner of the cats moved out and did not take them. I have been trying to take care of her to the best of my ability but I can no longer do so. In 2 weeks she will need to find a new home. They are approximately 4 years old.

Nikkie is about 8 weeks old female. Mostly white with calico tail and ears and short hair. Nikkie is a beautiful sweet girl. Nikkie is not spayed yet. Nikkie is not yet spayed, microchipped, up to date vaccines, FeLV and FIV negative. Pack Leaders' policy is to adopt young kittens out in pairs or to homes that already have cats or dogs available for them to interact and bond with. This is best for the developmental needs of the kittens and will provide the best experience for the adopter as well. If you have no other pets at home please consider adopting Nikkie with a friend. Adorable Asami is a gorgeous calico whose favorite activity is cuddling up next to her person for pets! This gentle 9 year-old loves her snuggle time in bed and waits for her person to come home so she can share some pets and affection. She’s great company and loves to follow her human around the house! Asami has an energetic side too, she enjoys hunting her catnip toys, playing with strings and swatting around paper balls. This very sweet, sometimes shy girl appreciates a calm, quieter environment so she can feel secure and show what a wonderful companion she is! She has lived with a small, quiet, respectful dog but does need to be your only feline furbaby in an adult or older teen home. Lola gave birth to her kittens and was such a good mama to them. They have all been adopted and now Lola is hanging out in foster care waiting for her family to find her. She can still be a bit timid, but has enjoyed living in a family environment with her foster pal, Dilly. Her foster mom thinks these two could go home either together or separately but both would benefit from kitty friends in their new home.. Lola loves to play with Dilly – sometimes meowing to her in the early morning to wake up and come play. She will give you slow, meaningful indications of her feelings – leaving toys at your bedside, giving you soulful looks from afar, and every so often – reaching out a paw when you least expect it. Emanuel came to us as a rescue transfer where he was trapped outside. Emanuel prefers to stay on the cat walk and watch the action of the room. MHS would consider placement for Emanuel in a safe warehouse/barn situation with proper acclimation. Dusty was originally a TNR with his buddy Rusty but the trapper decided to give them a chance in her home. They would do best with somebody who has experience in socializing shy kitties. They do have the potential to be a great pair of housecats. MHS would also consider the pair in a safe warehouse/barn situation with proper acclimation. They would make super mousers!Rusty is FIV+ which does NOT require daily medications nor impact his quality of life. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) is ONLY passed through deep bite wounds between cats and cannot be passed to other animal species or humans. FIV kitties can live with, share food bowls, litter boxes, groom and wrestle with non FIV housemates with no risk of transmission.
