Calico kittens & cats in Derby, Connecticut

We took in the our two lovely cats about 10 years ago as seven week old kittens (2 sisters out of a litter of 4.) We've had them before any of our kids in our first apartment. They've moved with us a bunch and have become great family companions (baby/kid friendly, well mannered, indoor + outdoor). One is a lap cat/cuddler, the other will happily follow you wherever you go if you call her. Unfortunately, we learned over the last few years that over half of our household has since developed severe allergies to cats, and now having just moved again into a new house with a less than ideal setup, it's becoming too challenging to keep them. As such, we'd like to help them find another loving pet owner or family who would love their companionship. Ideally whoever is interested is willing to take them together as a bonded pair.

They're lovely cats – well mannered, great with kids, indoor/outdoor. Unfortunately over the past few years we learned that a majority of our household has severe cat allergies, and having just moved, our new house set-up is less than ideal, making it just too difficult for us to keep them. We've love them to find a new home where a pet owner or family can show them just as much love as we have. Ideally whoever is interested is willing to take them together as a bonded pair.

Meet our “Artist” Litter: Frida Kahlo, Anna Boch, Selma Burke, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Jackson Pollock! These sweet three-month-old kittens come with a sad story…they were found, along with their mother, as strays and brought into a local vet hospital where sadly they learned that mom was positive for leukemia. Unfortunately, three of her five babies also tested positive, and yes, while their lifespans will be shorter, they are still so deserving of loving homes! Frida, a stunning calico, is extremely sweet and an affectionate gal. She is gentle, gives kisses, and also loves to play with your hair. She has been FIV/FELV tested and is negative. Anna, the other gorgeous calico, loves to cuddle. She’s also a bit water-obsessed and likes to watch water drip from the sink and shower. Anna also yearns for adventure and likes to climb. She also does great with dogs. While she is positive for leukemia, it is not transferrable to dogs (only cats). Selma is an all-black beauty! She loves to give kisses and is as sweet as can be! She is the adventurous one, always scaling the baby gates in the home and running into the living room to explore. She’s also fearless around the dogs. Georgia is an adorable brown & white tabby. She loves to play, even with your hair like her sister, but is gentle. She’s negative for feline leukemia. Jackson, the only boy in the litter, also loves water like his sisters and will even come into the shower with you. His black coat is so soft and he’s also a big cuddler. Ideally, we would love to find a home for Frida and Georgia together (the negatives) and have Anna, Selma, and Jackson (the positives) adopted in pairs or separately to homes with no other cats. Dogs, however, are ok. We are happy to share more about feline leukemia for anyone interested. They’re also great with kids so a family would be perfect for these kitties! Their adoption fee is $250 each and Frida Kahlo, Anna Boch, Selma Burke, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Jackson Pollock are vaccinated, microchipped, and will be spayed/neutered when of age so you must return to our vet in Bethel, CT for that appointment. Meet Callie is a teeny tiny superstar! Living love bug! Holy kittens! Our fosters are full and many kittens are now big enough to be adopted. They are anywhere from 8 to 14wks old so SOME are TOO SMALL TO GO as SOLO pets to a home unless u already have a young cat in your home - so have to be paired up. They are absolutely the sweetest and simply some of the cutest and prettiest kitties ever! Fanta and Sprite - these 8 wk old ADORABLES are ready to go - OH SO pretty with plush coats and amazing snuggable personalities - very round like British Shorthairs and cuddly like blues and calicos - teeny tiny and oh so sweet! Mavis, Montana, Alaska and Georgia - these cuties are 8w old Ragdoll Turkish Van floofballs - funny happy cuddly and just darn gorgeous - they have lived always spoiled in a fantastic foster and can't wait to spoil u! Gloria Phillip and Mumble - 8 wk old Maine Coon mix babies - floofy funny fun - their mom was one of our all time sweetest girls and these babies are like mini me's of her! Raven, Ramona, Remington, Rhea and River - 8 wk old Maine Coon mixed with a touch of Blue and Bengal - tiny girls who are the sweetest of the sweet and are a purrfect match for any family Watermelon Grape and Peach - 8 wk old exotic gorgeous cuties! Siamese mixed in with everything magical - they are cuddly kissy biscuit making beauties Trixie, Pom Pom, Marshall, Clarabell, Oscar, Callie and last but not least Kira - 8w old collection of a rainbow of mini dolls - they are not just beautiful but as sweet as sweet can be! We adore this HUGE group as they are as perfect with EVERYONE and are so fun and playful, it is impossible to pic our fav! Fern Peabody and Pongo -8 wk mixed breed cuties- GORGEOUS poofiness just darn adorable - fosters cannot say enough about how awesome they are - sweet SWEET sweet - snuggly kissy cuddly Wasabi, Miso, Sushi, Mochi and Dumpling - 8wk old babies raised with their momma Suki (now adopted) and ready to be on their own! Super sweet tiny gentle and quiet - loved by our best fosters too! These babies were all fostered in a wonderful home after they were abandoned in NYC and KY at a high kill shelters and then cared for by our incredible NY and KY foster teams! They are all friendly and fun and great for any family - they seem fine with kids and should be fine with other gentle cats and with a gentle dog. They are incredibly affectionate, super snuggly, and simply the most purrfect kitties! Again some of these babies are TOO SMALL to go solo so u must have another young cat in the home or adopt in pairs.
