Story
Juliet is an adorable, affectionate, 4 year-old who has spent her whole life with her biological family.  She is currently hanging out with Peter, the dad, and their three kids - Damian, Francis, and Reah.  She loves to play and run with them.  Because she is used to being with her family, she would do best if she were adopted into a home with another dog to play with.  She either needs a member of her actual family or a male dog.  Juliet could also be adopted with her daughter Reah but otherwise does not do well with other female dogs.   Juliet will need continued training and working on her manners.  She will need daily exercise with her new family as well as lots of love, confidence-building, and attention.  She needs a home with a reasonable-sized yard with a secure 6-foot physical fence.   Juliet is spayed, current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.  She  will do fine in a home without kids, or in a home with older, responsible kids.  She will not be adopted to a home with cats.  Juliet’s adoption fee is $400.00.  If you are interested in making Juliet a member of your family, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line application found under the Adopt tab.  Once the application has been completed, you will be contacted by your state coordinator.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.   Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Juliet is eligible for our canine railroad and can be transported up to 1400 miles from LA with the last leg (100) being driven by the adopter.    November 4, 2024, 9:17 pm

Story
Nelli (or Nelli Belly) is a sweet, spayed ,10-year-old female who enjoys daily walks, playing fetch, and car rides.   Nelli’s mom was a Brittany but she takes after her Border Collie dad in size (48 pounds) and looks.  Nelli’s new family should be active and prepared to commit to throwing a ball for her and including her in their activities.   She is quite agile and energetic and will need a home with a yard secured by a  6-foot fence.  She is house trained, knows several commands, and is good with guests. Nelli is currently living with a foster family that includes two adults and an older male Brittany. Nelli is well-behaved and has been left loose in the house with no problems. She keeps tabs on her people and likes to lay by her foster mom’s chair when she works from home. Ideally her family would be home more often than not, perhaps retired or working remotely. Other dogs may be ok as long as they aren’t too alpha.  Nelli would love to have a dog to play with who understands and accepts her vocalizing while playing.  Nelli’s experience with cats is unknown.  Her behavior around children is also not known, although her foster family suggests she would be best in a home with active adults that could include older children. Nelli is spayed, current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.  Nelli’s adoption fee is $175.00 which helps to offset our vetting and allow NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making Nelli a member of your family, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line adoption application form under the Adopt tab.  Once the application has been reviewed, you will be contacted by your state coordinator.  A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.  Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.   Nelli is eligible to be transported through our canine railroad up to 1400 miles from Boise with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.November 4, 2024, 9:17 pm

Story
Betty is an approximately two-year old Brittany with a tail.  She is very energetic, loves people, is very affectionate, and gets along well with mellow dogs.  When Betty came into rescue she had a painful, chronically infected, congenitally blind eye.  After consultation with the vet, NBRAN had the defective eye removed and Betty has thrived now that she is out of pain.  Because of the blindness in her one eye, we will not place Betty in a home with young children or overly active dogs who could startle her.   Betty is a bigger brit and weights close to 50 pounds.  She is current on her vaccinations, HW negative, spayed, housebroken, and crate-trained.     Betty will need a home with a good-sized yard with a secure 6-foot physical fence so she can run her favorite zoomies.  A yard with trees and bushes for birds would be heaven for Betty because she is very birdy and loves to go on point.  She will need an active adopter or family that will provide the daily exercise she needs.  Betty would do well with a regular walker or runner.  Her new owner will be expected to continue working with her on leash work and manners.  The adoption fee for Betty $400.00 which helps to offset our vetting and allow NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members. If you are interested in making Betty a member of your family, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line adoption application form under the Adopt tab. Betty is eligible to be transported through our canine railroad up to 1400 miles from central CA with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.November 4, 2024, 9:17 pm

Story
Mallory is an 11-month-old, sweet Brittany/aussie mix.  Mallory loves playing with her sister Morgan and the other dogs in their foster home. She loves her squeakies and bones and love going for walks.  She knows how to sit and is working on not jumping on kitchen tables and counters. She will need continued training, especially leash work and manners.  Mallory will need a home with a good-sized yard with a secure 6 foot physical fence for running zoomies and any gardens will need to be protected since she is very fond of picking tomatoes off the vine.  Mallory is very bonded to Morgan so will need to be in a home with another dog who wants to play all day.  Mallory is not only active but very smart so she must be kept well exercised daily to keep  from getting into mischief or finding unacceptable ways to entertain herself.  Like all smart puppies, Mallory loves testing to see where she fit in and what she can get away with.     Mallory will need a very experienced dog owner who can take the time to work with her on a daily basis.  A home with small children or where the adults work long hours outside the home is not going to be a good fit for Mallory. Mallory loves to sleep in a puppy pile with her foster mom on the bottom. She loves to wrestle and play with Morgan and their foster siblings and also love cuddling with  people, especially on the couch and bed.  And she loves giving kisses to everyone. Mallory is current on vaccinations, HW negative, crate-trained, housebroken, spayed, and healthy.  Her adoption fee is $350.00, which helps to offset our vetting and allow NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members. If you are interested in making Mallory a member of your family, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line adoption application form under the Adopt tab. Story
Are you ready for the time and energy of this darling 15-week-old, handsome little boy?   Whiskey River (aka River) loves to play with his stuffy toys, run around the backyard, play with all ages of dogs and loves to snuggle at the end of the day on the couch with you. He is doing a great job on his potty training, but will need continued training.    Because River is a Brittany, he will need a home with yard with a secure 6-foot fence where he can run and play safely.  River will need an active adopter who can provide the daily exercise he needs.  He would love to have a companion dog to play with in his new home.  His new owner will be expected to continue working with him on his leash training and manners.   The adoption fee for River is $575.00.  $75.00 of that fee is reimbursable upon proof of a required neuter once River is 6 months old.  River is current on his vaccinations and microchipped.   If you are interested in making River a member of your family, and have the time, energy, and love to give him, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line adoption application form under the Adopt tab.  A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.  If you have questions after you have completed the adoption application, contact Patti at 801.641.4053. Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.   River can be adopted up to 1400 miles from his foster home to eligible adopters.  Transportation options are restricted and should be discussed with Patti.  November 7, 2024, 3:56 pm

Story
Meet Steven, a playful and affectionate young boy on the lookout for his forever home! This strikingly handsome and energetic boy loves to have fun, especially when he’s playing with his foster siblings. His joyful spirit is contagious, and he brings a lot of happiness wherever he goes. Steven is not only a bundle of energy, but he’s also a well-mannered pup. He excels in his crate and is fully potty trained, making him a breeze to care for. Sharing is second nature to him—he happily shares his toys and treats with his foster friends, showing just how friendly and easygoing he is. When it comes to car rides, Steven is a superstar! He enjoys the journey and settles in nicely. He already knows basic obedience commands and is quick to learn new ones, responding well to guidance and correction. His intelligence shines through in everything he does. If you’re looking for a smart, playful companion who’s ready to bring joy to your life, Steven is the perfect match. To add Steven to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2199802##
